The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was old, so age is starting to show itself such as the peeling wallpaper, molds, humid, the glass partition in the bathroom (of my room at the time) was floppy and not fixed in place, which was a safety hazard. But on the bright side, it was clean and the bed was pretty comfy, and the daily cleaning of the room was consistent and neat. Prayer amenities are supplied (for Muslims).
But compared to other hotels in the area (I won't say their names), I'd say this much is better already.
The waiting lounge was large and there were plenty of seatings, but the active receptionists were only two at a time, so expect a queue if you're checking in or out. The crowd situation is full, so book a room at least a week prior.
The breakfast menu is always the same everyday, I guess if it's possible, only book a day of included breakfast and do the breakfast on the rest of your stay outside where there are many traditional food vendors because it gets a bit boring to eat the same menu everyday, and I only stayed for 3 days, so that's saying something. Of course, the menu includes a range of items so there is still some choosing involved.
There was a sky garden and a pool deck available, but no outside food allowed so I guess it's for the hotel events.
There are 2 separate elevators, where one connects the lobby at the ground floor and the basement parking to the reception and waiting lounge area at level 3, and another one connects the level 3 to the upper floors of the hotel. Berikut saya paparkan alasan: Kesulitan akses: ruang meeting ada dilantai 4, menuju ruang meeting wajib minta akses ke petugas. Saya mempertanyakan alasan, dan dijelaskan karena ini regulasi dan mengingat sistem hotel syariah. Menurt saya aneh, saya masih blm bisa memahami apa relevansi antara prinsip hotel syariah, ke ruang meeting wajib minta akses ke petugas (lantai 3), dg mukhrim makhrom dll. Saya tanya ke petugas bagaimana bapak bisa tahu kalau mukhrim atau tidak jika didalam lift ada banyak orang yg petugas bahkan tdk kenal dan tdk antar tamu sampai ruangan. Sungguh tidak efisien. Jadi jika kalian menghuni kamar dilantai 8, wajib menuju ke lantai 3 dulu minta ke petugas bantu tap kartu akses ke lantai 4 yg merupakan lokasi ruang meeting. Kunci hanya diberi 1: alasan kami meminta kunci 2 adalah karena per kamar dihuni 2 orang, ruangan panas dan sistem ac tidak bisa disetting ke suhu yg rendah. Suhu akan menurun secara bertahap mengikuti suhu di dalam kamar (sdh saya tanyakan ke resepsionist dan ini jawabannya). Bisa bayangkan, setelah berjalan jauh menuju kamar, gerahh, dan harus nunggu suhu turun secara perlahan. Contoh suhu saat saya masuk kamar adalah 28 derajat 30 menit kemudian suhu turun menjadi 26 derajat. Tidak signifikan dan masih panas. Kewajiban deposit untuk dapat kunci 2: bukan masalah tdk rela memberikan uang 50rb deposit kunci kamar, tapi ini tidak sesuai dengan hak atas jasa yg kami terima senagai konsumen. Kami melaksanakan meeting, dg skema fullboard (menginap) dengan harga per orang dg pembagian 1 kamar diisi oleh 2 orang. Artinya hak yg kami terima termasuk sarapan, perlaatan mandi, air minum, juga untuk 2 orang, termasuk kunci kamar. Kecuali kamar yg kami sewa pembayaran untuk 1 orang, ya betul fasilitas untuk 1 orang. coba dianalisa lagi, jadi resiko penggantian kunci hilang seharusnya bisa dibayarkan setelah kunci nya hilang. Konsekuensi hukum (contoh denda) dibayarkan setelah adanya pelanggaran, bukan sebelum kejadian itu terjadi. Saya jadi mempertanyakan prinsip syariah nya? Sistem smoking non smoking yang tdk jelas: kami menempati kamar di lantai 7, di form reservasi ada simbol nom smpking dan dijelaskan bahwa kamar merupakan non smoking. Secara umum pengaturan kamar non smoking adalah perlantai. Ketika menuju kamar, kami mencium aroma bau rokok di lorong kamar, dan setelah kami konfrmasi ke petugas lain ternyata lantai 7 adalah kamar smoking, sedangkan form yg kami ttd tertulis...
