Absolutely unforgettable – 5 stars without hesitation!

We had a truly amazing stay here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature, combined with comfort and heartfelt hospitality.

Everything was incredibly clean, beautifully arranged, and clearly maintained with great attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The atmosphere is calm, warm, and personal – you can feel the love and thought that went into every corner of this place.

At first, we stayed in a Garden View Villa, which offered a lovely view of the lush plants and many butterflies – like a small tropical garden paradise. But since I wanted to see the national park from our room, the team made it possible without any hesitation. We were moved to the Top Hill Nest 2, and the view was simply breathtaking. Waking up with that panoramic view of the national park was a magical experience we will never forget.

The rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated. Everything felt high-quality, yet cozy and inviting. You don’t just feel like a guest – you feel at home.

What stood out the most was the incredible team. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. No matter the question or request, they were always there with a smile and a kind word. Their hospitality made a big difference and truly elevated our experience.

The food was delicious, fresh, and varied every day. You could really taste the care and creativity in each meal. Whether breakfast or dinner, everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented.

In short, this was one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with stunning views, great food, and the kindest staff, this is the perfect choice.

We’re already looking forward to...

I dont understand the 3 stars. Is at least 4 stars. We got to spend 2 nights here at the end of August. And after being on an island with no hot water this was a 5 star room to us. The bathroom was huge. So nice in the hot water. The beds where so comfortably with great big pillows. Aircon cold. And nice to just sit out the front on the chair and watch some birds. The restaurant was great with a nice view. It Is a set menu that is in the price of accommodation. Everything was delicious and got enough food. They had cold beer and a good bar with cocktails. We did the morning and afternoon tour. Got to see all the animals. The guide are excellent at spotting the animals and knowing where they are and cause of the we got to see a Cuscus way up in a tree . Follow the Macaque though the jungle. See a couple of Tarsius and lots of colourful birds and they even knew where a Python and Tarantula lived. But the best was the Knobbed Hornbill. Our guide seemed insulted he couldn't spot one on our morning walk and took it personally and promised if we wanted to go for arvo walk early he would find us the elusive bird. What a call we went to a different park of the park and seen 10 or so playing in some trees a 100m away. It when we moved we got within 10 m of a couple in the trees. We didn't find the walk to taxing. Loved this place and wish I got to spend...

I totally recommend this place to enjoy some relaxing time before and after your jungle trekking and visit of Tangkoko national reserve. Nestled on top of a hill, this hotel benefits of the lush surroundings and of the wonderful view that, especially at sunrise, you can enjoy from the restaurant terrace. The rooms and the bathrooms are comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The food is tasty and diverse and the staff is kind.

My only two improvement points are:

the staff is clearly looking forward to leave around 9pm. This is not the place where to stay awake until late at night, but as there's a bar area, it would be nice to feel welcome there also after dinner. Adding a couple of drinks to the menu could be a plus point (considering there are some bottles behind the bar that might never get used) I did the Indonesia massage and I did not like it. It was very different from any other massage I've done, not in the good way. Plus the ''spa'' is just a room barely prepared for this. I found it way overpriced and not up to the standard of this accommodation. It's true that, after reporting my negative experience to the owner, I received a discount, but I still believe this type of inconveniences should not happen if you are calling your hotel...

Guesthouse: The room was really nice and clean with a comfortable bed. There is even a bathtub to enjoy after a long jungle trek. The restaurant has a lovely view and the food was amazing with a lot of vegetables. The keeper was exceptionally friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. What we also appreciated was that the guesthouse had a nice brochure with lots of information about the accommodation as well as the park. Guide: Our guide (provided by the accommodation) was really good, an awesome spotter with lots of experience and dedication (maybe sometimes too much dedication). We did the morning and afternoon tour and we saw macaques, cuscus bears, lots of birds and tarsiers. He even found small owls sleeping on the tree! The only criticism we have is that he still lacks some awareness not to disturb wildlife (going too close to the animals or making loud noises to get the animal’s attention). However, we guess that is true for all the local guides.
