Hotel Braja Mustika — Hotel in Bogor

Visited Indonesia to attend a family wedding, and this was the first time my family and I traveled out of my country to visit Indonesia Bogor in a long time.||Mr.Edu from Java Private Tour was the first person I contacted because of a reference from tripadvisor, coincidentally Java Private Tour also recommended Hotel Braja Mustika to me as the best place to stay with my family, the place is very strategic because it is close to the Mall, Traditional Market, as well as the Bogor Botanical Gardens and other tourist spots, So before and after attending a family wedding reception in Bogor, my family and I can explore the city of Bogor which I think is very unique, I admit the greatness of Mr. Edu from Java Private Tour in organizing our trip, and Java Private Tour even provided transportation facilities for us and our family, of course with a very professional service.||Thank you Braja Mustika Hotel for making me feel at home during my stay in Bogor, I even stayed more than the planned day, my original plan was only 4 days but because Hotel Braja Mustika was very comfortable and my family enjoyed staying at Hotel Braja Mustika, I extended the period my stay is 9 days. and for those of you who stop in Bogor, I highly recommend Hotel Braja Mustika for you, and Java Private Tour as your travel planner and...

Stayed here for 3 nights. The very first thing I was asked when I reached the hotel for check-in is whether I want to get a upgrade to Deluxe room for IDR100,000. It was really quite a turn off actually. When I was hesitant about it, the staff showed a face of disappointment which I have no idea why.

The pool wasn’t as great as on the photos. The playground was under-maintained and really need a lot of work to improve.

The breakfast spread was easy. However, the food were cold and flies can be spotted being on the food. It was left open and there was no heat coming from the bottom to keep it warm nor the cover is shut. Hygiene standards for food is terrible. Especially the fruits were placed where the plates were returned to the kitchen. 😕

Room was good. Bed is clean, essentials is in. WiFi signal can be received. Bathroom was ok but very dull. The heater only produced hot water for a period of time. If you continue on showering or trying to fill the whole bath tub, it’s actually cold water that is out.

The WiFi is terrible. Barely able to make it to do video call. Download speed is 0.02Mbps via Speedtest. A small file requires minutes to load.

Visited this hotel on the first week of december 2017, never thought that the hotel was quite good. Reserved superior from online travel agent and by the time of checking in the reception told me that smoking room only available on deluxe room with balcony, and i have to add another 100K for additional upgrade charge. It was only for smoking purposes but i found out that it was worth since the view from 5th floor was extremely good facing Salak mountain. Facilities are up to a 4-stars hotel with free wifi, shower & bathtub, flat lcd tv, and water kettle. However i forgot to check whether the room has minibar or not. Seeing the size of the room it was big around 38-46 square meters and it has adequate lighting, there were two 1seater sofas on the corner with one chair in front of dressing table. Even though the room was clean there is 1 notice for housekeeping to check thoroughly every corner of the room since there were used plastic bags behind the sofa. It was concealed and would not been seen if I did not move the sofa away from the windows. For the breakfast, it was so so, but the taste was accepted by Indonesia tongue.
