R Hotel Rancamaya — Hotel in Bogor

Visited there some time ago and they advised me to contact them via whatsapp (text only) if there is question to ask.

On 2nd January 2022 evening I contacted them and want to get more information about their hotel, in the next morning on business hours they replied my question and I immediately replied, after three hours didn't hear anything from them I decided to send the same message at 1:12pm, they replied at 3:40pm and we texted for another two messages within 10 minutes. In the next morning on 4th January 2022 I sent them another message, for the whole day they didn't answer. I could have contacted the hotel via phone but the thing with whatsapp facility is very convenient and easy to use therefore they provided it for everyone in the first place. Called the head office twice today on the 5th January in the afternoon, they said they will deliver my message and asked them to contact me but received nothing. Called the hotel and asked them I have sent them a message via whatsapp, why haven't I receive a reply? I told them my whatsapp number and they replied today at 4.30pm but not with an answer asked three days ago but a "how can we help you" message. I assumed they have deleted all my messages hence the greetings. I would say their customer service is poor and below standard, three days is not enough for you to answer a simple question yet you have whatsapp for your customer with "chat only" in "whatsapp about".

Maybe you're too buys to answer a question therefore you deleted the whole messages but as far as I can tell rarely your whatsapp goes online. Please set an automatic message on your whatsapp business saying that you will reply within a certain amount of time. Otherwise don't send them a whatsapp message it's a total useless and waste of time! They also asked you to give them "a missed call" to tell or remind them to reply your message.

How about don't put your phone on silent so when people message you you will automatically get the missed call! Hopefully, they read this review and give me a response or missed call, so that I can have a reason to edit...

Room is good, beautiful view..I only can suggest if you want to stay here, stay in the higher floor room so you can get the mountain view from your balcony,some room have sofa in it with smaller balcony and others have bigger balcony but no sofa. Cupboard are quite big and their drawers under television are spacious enough, all are good but sadly, I can't find extra pillow nor blanket in the cupboard and we realize that already quite late at night :( next services and hospitality, those are good, all staff are friendly and helping with real smiley faces. Breaktfast foods are satisfying, they have such a good taste of "nasi goreng", and it's theirs popular breakfast food there, but I wish they will add coffe machine there for latte people like me :) and please do try their milkshake and burger in Pavillion resto..so....YUMMY!!! They have two pools, one is lagoon with the pool bar, other is closer to the golf drivin range and I preffer this one because it's nearer to a very nice shower room, in there you can use jacuzzi pool,sauna and steam room :) they have golf driving range which you'll get a chance for 50 free shots/hits? if you stay in the hotel, there's also bikes you can borrow there, they have kids playroom, game room to play darts,badminton and there's a mini market as well. It's such a good place for your staycation, good view..whether,room,food,service,facilities and more over...to get there from Jakarta is more comfortable because it's different exit gateway from...

From checking in to getting into the room, good as per expected. I saw many of hotel guests are family with small kids.l, they flooded the pools and like everywhere small steps surrounding the hotel 😊. We got a promo rate by calling directly to the hotel, the 2 nights get 3 nights promo. Our room is cozy, clean and comfortable. Everything looks great, clean. Staffs are nice and courteous. The area is very big with kids park next to place for deer and swan. There's a small but complete convenience store that opens from 7 to 7. They have 3 swimming pool, one of them located near the Golf area is deeper probably 2m depth with clear sign of deeper area. The other pools are for kids, to 1.3 m if I'm not mistaken. The shower and toilet for after swimming is available at the pool near the hotel only, so it's a bit difficult to change and everything if we go to the deeper swimming pool - happen to me when I needed to use toilet and the cleaning lady said I had to go up 😀. Sadly since pandemic they closed the spa, sauna and jacuzzi that was mentioned by other reviewers. Need to bring our own balls for basketball, tennis.. Breakfast is good, not that fantastic but kids love it especially the waffles. There are some restaurant nearby but going to Bogor is also easy just take about 20-30 minutes and soo many options for restaurant. Today will be our last day here so let's see hopefully...
