Best hostel in Denpasar hands down! The owner made this place feel like home away from home, very kind and helpful. He helped me plan my travels in Bali and recommended places to visit and stay. As for the hostel itself, the rooms are clean and the AC works well. The beds are quite big for singles and comfortable. There's free coffee and tea and breakfast is included. It's surprisingly beautiful on the inside, and the two terraces have nice views. The location is perfect if you want to feel like a local as it's in an area with barely any tourism. This means that everything surrounding the hostel is local, the street food is delicious and cheap and you can walk around without getting hassled by street vendors like in the more popular areas of the city (looking at you, Kuta). beautiful building with the kindest host I've had the pleasure of meeting. Owner truly is a hardworking man who goes above and beyond for you. Ask him for anything you need, amenities, food recs. they have a kitchen you can use for plates, bowls and cutlery and 24/7 tea/coffee area. Area makes you feel like a local as you're put right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of everyday life with cheap eats and small marts around Rooms are in a traditional beautiful Balinese building and so naturally, rooms are a bit dated but charming. I really enjoyed my stay at the place, particularly the soothing sounds of birds in the morning. Although I couldn't identify the specific bird species, I noticed there were hanging cages on the first floor. The location is convenient, with plenty of nearby food options. The staff was friendly and kind. The old-fashioned house evokes a sense of traditional Balinese architecture, and the small balcony on the third floor offers a lovely view of the surroundings.
