KOSLO Hotel Yogyakarta — Hotel in Depok

This exclusive-boarding-house-turned-hotel is only nice if you had a grand memory of your boarding house at school. It looks incredibly green from the outside, but once you get into your room, you’re locked in a cell. The room is a matchbox, the window is facing the outdoor alley where people pass to get to their rooms. Its glass is tainted for privacy as it overlooks the public place, therefore you will never be able to see outside unless you open the door. Although overall the place is very clean, there is a surprise in the toilet as…it has no sink. We have to use the shower tap for brushing teeth or washing hands. It is good enough if you stay for 1 night only, but more than that, even for 3 nights as we did, it soon became claustrophobic. Other good thing to note is that the nights are quiet, apart from early Sunday morning when the children started shouting in the pool. There are better deals of hotel near the train station for the price,...

The location is pretty good, near seturan and babarsari where coffee shops, foods and beverages available all around.

The size of the rooms are good and spacious enough for 2 ppl. We rent 2 rooms with single beds. This hostel is quite unique with hip ambience. However, the cleanliness of both our rooms can be improved. The furniture also need to be updated with additional small fridge to complete these rooms (there's a hole under the desk which seems to be where small fridge was).

Towels are great - clean and smells nice. Linen just ok - can be improved. Toilet & shower - great with high pressure.

No elevator so guests must use stairs. Be careful because it can be slippery from other guests after...

The location is easy to find and there are a lot of food stalls nearby. The staff are warm and friendly. They really have a cozy vibe from the very entrance. The pool was clean and I like how they decorate the hotel with all the plant that give a calming vibe. Even the room was small the facility inside will definitely makes you comfortable. TV, AC, Hot Shower, and Wi-Fi are works fine, they provide very comfortable blanket, clean towel, toiletries and mineral water. I think they don't provide room service unless you ask for the staff, besides that...
