REVAYAH Hotel Ruteng — Hotel in Flores

We spent two nights at this hotel, and we found it just perfect. The rooms are huge, with very comfortable beds and nice big bathroom. The place is spotlessly clean, quiet and not so close to the town, but this is not a problem, as an ojek or a bemo will take you there in less than 5' for 5000 rupiahs. They also have a parking lot, with security, so we left our rented motorcycle there overnight with no problem. Breakfast is good, with a choice of sweet or savory. I would especially like to mention the young lady at reception, Ika, who was very helpful and willing to make us feel at home. She also helped us find a shared car to Bajawa. Hotel Revaya is new and very much above the average accommodation when it comes to furnishings and comfort. A quiet place as we were the only guests in this big hotel, it is located just outside the city. Shuttle to town is available. Our room was big and comfortable with hot water but no AC. Much work is still to be done to refine the place and to meet the standard that it aspires to, i.e. construction quality does not promise the building to last long, menu selection in the restaurant is very limited for breakfast and dinner, staff is friendly but needs more training, WiFi range is limited to lobby and restaurant and very slow.
