Hotel Permata Hati — Hotel in Ingin Jaya

I find the free airport pickup provided by the hotel is a very good service esp if u are a woman travelling to a foreign country . However pls email the hotel first prior to your arrival to inform them about the pickup. I stayed in 3 diff rooms for 3 nites: superior, deluxe and vip room. The rooms are big, but i love the deluxe room with windows facing the small houses, trees and i saw a few chickens as well. The vip room facing the hotel front is nice with a round dining table provided but the cupboard to hang your clothes is smaller than the one in the deluxe room. Coffee making and mini fridge is available in all rooms except dont have in superior room. They have lifts/elevators as well. However i must mention about the floor in all the bathrooms, they are not properly scrub and clean, the floor is slippery and hot water shower is slow to come out in the beginning but ok after a while. ||||The hotel is a abt 2-3km from the city center but dont worry, if you want to venture out, just ask the hotel to make arrangements, as in my case, they arrange a driver who is friendly and can take you anywhere and its cheap. Rental per day price or single trip. Breakfast is acceptable and have varieties eventhough not many guests during my trip. Wifi is good, but you have to inform the reception if you cant connect as they will help you with it as different areas of the hotel have different IDs.||||Currently the hotel is undergoing some renovation so it is noisy if you take the room on the right wing side. I recommend the deluxe room on the left wing at the end unit so the view is nicer. Overall, my stay is comfortable and the staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. This hotel is a bit out of the city but near the airport. Its expensive for the area, but you can usually find deals on discount websites. Our room was clearly meant for 4 people, it had 4 twin beds and was advertised for 600k IDR but we only paid 300k. We stayed the night before an early morning flight. The staff was extremely helpful. We had trouble communicating at first as no one could speak English. The staff was very patient as we gestured 430am flight and taxi. They nodded as we walked away, but we weren't sure they understood. We gestured food and they pointed out the front door so we headed out for dinner. We found a restaurant just down the street. Half way through the meal the manager came and found us, he explained that he had arranged a van to take us to the airport at 430am, and because he was concerned we wouldn't get breakfast he had already set up a breakfast buffet IN OUR ROOM. When we got back we found fruit, bread, jam and a toaster all set up on our desk. They even called us at 4am to make sure we were awake and had the taxi waiting for us when we got to the lobby 5 minutes early. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. My family and I stayed here for one night on our way back to Kuala Lumpur for Pulau Weh. This hotel is a 25 minute drive from the ferry and a 20 minute drive to the airport. ||||The decor tired and the rooms certainly need quite a bit of updating. The showers are not powerful and the furniture in the rooms was cheap and showing signs of age. ||||We had two rooms for one night and paid 420,000 per room including breakfast. Overall this was pretty expensive for what it was. ||||There were two positive points: the breakfast was very good and was served from 6.30am to allow us to make our flight and the staff changed one of our rooms quickly when the aircon did not work.||||I would probably not book this...
