I've suffer for Crohn disease for almost 4 years, and during that time i'm constantly must make a trip to Jakarta for my regular check up procedure and because of that, i need a place to stay for couple a days.|I've tried to stay at many hotels near or around Pluit area, North Jakarta and Hariston Hotel is where i put my heart to write this review.|Where should i begin ? The food ? The food is amazing. during my 1st year, Hariston is the only Hotel that able to fulfill my dietary program. The chef, Mr. Yono, put a lot of love and hardwork to my dishes, he always constantly asking me what to eat and what not to eat. A hearty and sincere service from a friend.|Service ? Oo jolly, the staff here, they're not just there to greet you, they're willing to give their time to support you and talk, a nice friendly chat. Starting from the receptionist, the smile, the joke, it was a wonderful experience. All the staff ready to help you. I remember few names like Ms. Sarah, Ms. Yuri or Ms. Eka that help me everytime i bump into a little insatiability.|Other staff from the restaurant for example, they are the spirit of this hotel, they are the face of Hariston. Friendly, funny, patience and dedication and the face of hard working friend. You'll love them instantly once you start a warmth conversation with any of them.|I always find myself in deep and motivating conversations with any of the staff there.|Mr. Rehan, Mr. Bowo, Ms. Wulan and Ms. Inna is the example from many staff that help me feel comfortable and cosy.|The room ?? You don't have to ask, this is most special part of my review. As i wrote in the beginning of my review, I've suffer from Crohn disease and i must consume a lot, i mean A LOT of pills, tablets and vitamins. One day, i go back to my room after a long day at the hospital, i am jaded and tired and craving for a nice warm bed and i found this small note at the table next to my bed that said "Dear mr. Krisna, i just realised that you consume a lot of medicines and for that i put an extra mineral bottle for you. Hope you'll get well soon"|It's just a small note but with a grand impact.|It's like a reminder for my soul for not to give up. That act alone, make me realise that Hariston isn't just a hotel. It's a place where you can...
Read moreI do not recommend this hotel. My son Was transfered to here from quarantine hotel haris puri mansion after an incorrect positive pcr testz along with 2 others supposedly positives , ALL WITHOUT SYMPTOMS.(Read my review there of our son's unfortunate experience quarantining there). Back here, hariston hotel is strangely the only hotel referred to by designated Covid personels at haris puri. On 13th june It was an abandoned/no -operational hotel, with no staffs in sight and non-uniformed security guards guarding a gate. The lobby was deserted at night when we followed My son being transfered here in a rush at 2am. The next day, the lobby was still deserted, we couldn't find any staff to contact and was only able to communicate with the guard by the street side. Too many strange things were happening so we requested our son be transferred to wisma atlet and was finally given a doctor's contact at site by chat, who refused to meet me in person, until i had an ambulance come and extract him to be transferred to wisma atlet (government designated facility for covid) where he was finally able to get a co.parison PCR test and true enough resulted NEGATIVE and was...
Read moreI stayed for a night, the moment i arrived i've noticed that the room doesn't smell that good and maybe it was because the hotel's already old. Then problems such as ants crawling to the table, lots of them came up. I had to call the staffs to spray something to prevent them coming out. Then the morning came, somehow the aircond in the morning is not as cold as it was last night. Some more they place me across the room who was celebrating their wedding here. I heard doorbells, door knocks, conversations, and many noises. IT WAS AN UNPLEASANT STAY. The family was crowding the hallway with no masks on during this pandemic. I mean if they want to create so many noises, they should've just booked the whole floor or a meeting room for their preparations. What a nuinsance, no blessings for them but all the worst. Destroying one's peacefull saturday morning over your personal joy, don't even wish for understanding when you don't understand you're being a hindrance to the whole floor. The staff did nothing to control them, i mentioned this to the front office. The door is so thin i could hear everything clearly, worst hotel i've ever encountered, fake 4 star hotel. Never...
