We were stranded in Temanggung after we were due to be picked up for a homeatay and they never arrived.|The staff outside the hotel were friendly and let us wait on their bench. The hotel staff were lovely and let us wait inside when it started to rain where we played chess during our wait :)|We decided to see if we could book as we didn't look like we were getting collected. We went for the cheapest room and it was lovely. The restaurant food is nice and it is beautifully decorated.|None of the menu has any english besides the western section so it was difficult to decide what to have but that was our problem.|We ended up going back to the hotel after a night away and again no complaints.|To be picky the internet is not very good in the rooms so we had to sit in the restaurant to lool things up but kot a big problem.|The reception were kind enough to save our bags too on our last day.|The only thing to note, if yo7 are offered a taxi do NOT accept. We declined a taxi to Yogyakarta as we were getting the bus. This wad ignored and a friend of the owner was called anyway. We were offered a price of 300,000 and explained that we could get the bus for both of us for 60,000 so it was a thanks but no thanks. When the driver arrived we were pushed into getting driven to Magelang which again we said we were ok. They offerer 7,000 and we grudgingly said yes. We got in the car and the driver dropped us off at Temanggung bus station (after taking a ridiculously long route to get there). The bus station is a two minute walk from the hotel. When we got there confused we asked for the price so we could just get out and he asked for 50,000! To drive round the corner for a taxi we didn't even want. Stayed in Deluxe Room for 3 nights, 13-16 May, in order to attend my sister's wedding in a village nearby. Its in a newer building as compared to the main building where the lobby and resto is.||||Expectations have to be kept considerably low as this hotel is catered mostly to the domestic market and it is also considered a transit hotel between Yogyakarta and Semarang. However, the hotel experience exceeded my rather low expectation. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and aircon worked well. The bathroom, on the other hand, although newly refurbished, was very grimy and had a lingering stink. There was also some tiny mosquitoes buzzing around the room. 2 bottles of mineral water are provided daily.||||Breakfast was at Daun Mas Resto. Food was very average, with fried rice (not replenish when finished), fried instant noodles, white rice with some dishes, coffee and tea. ||||Our room was not cleaned and towels replaced for all 3 nights as we did not leave our room key at the reception whenever we go out.
