Maribaya Natural Hot Spring Resort — Hotel in Java

If you love camping but in glamour and elegant style, this place are the suitable for your choice!||||Maribaya Glamping Tent located around 22 kilometers NorthEast from Bandung and around 5 kilometers East from Lembang, a small high town in Northen Bandung.||||We are around 10 to 20 peoples were stayed in this site. A perfect location and easy access (in front of Maribaya Natural Hot Spring Resorts) with a traditional warm welcome hospitality from the Staff had made our day better!||||There are around 11 tents, starting from the smallest one into the biggest one. I had the tent number 703, which is the twin bed configuration. It had opened style cabinet, safety deposit box, shoes rack, an umbrella, 2 pairs of sandals, coffee and tea maker, dressing chair and table, IDD Telephone, TV with local and international channels. Also a private bathroom with standing shower (hot and cold), toilets, wash basin and even the amenities!||||This Glamping were really a good and excellent glamour camping site! They had several BBQ Sites that we could rent for it and the staff will cook our meal, we just need to wait in our table.||||The restaurant is located at the second floor above the lobby. Open air style with various kind of cuisine made my day better again!||||Finally, each guest whom stayed in Glamping Tent will had a VIP Pass Entrance to the Hot Spring inside the Maribaya Natural Hot Spring...

We stayed in the deluxe room. Room was clean, no issue on the cleanliness. It was, however, kind of smells. The kind of smell you’d find if a room has not been slept in for quite a long time (perhaps because of the closure due to covid, which is understandable) The bathroom is clean and very proper. Design wise, the room is “meh”. It was okay, nothing special about it. No AC obviously. Staffs are very polite and friendly. On the property itself, don’t expect high. It really is just a piece of land with tents in it and jacuzzi area. That’s literally it. Don’t expect anything more than that. Don’t expect a “resort experience” where you can have nice view. Photos on the internet CAN (and ARE) deceiving and misleading. Those photos lead you to believe that this is a huge property/resort. It is not! It really is just a piece of land with tents in it. The room price is really too high for what they’re offering. Breakfast is also meh. The receptionist recommends fried rice (said to be their specialty). It turns out to be just rice fried with soy sauce. I can’t cook but even I can make much better fried rice. Right across the glamping area, there’s this maribaya hot spring thingy. It’s not impressive or breathtaking or anything. The river smells and polluted. Just meh. Won’t come...

I recently stayed in Family Tent 705 and requested to move to same category tent 711 due to problematic unpleasant toilets odour and dirt from the top kept on falling on one of the bed made it unusable.

I have concern on observed notable differences in amenities between tents of the same category, despite both being charged equally at a significant price of IDR 6mio per night. Specifically, tent 711 comes with living room, air purifier and hair dryer that the other doesn't have at all.

Regrettably, it appears that the rest of the amenities and common areas are not kept to the expected standards.

I kindly request your attention to this matter and would appreciate any clarification or resolution you can provide. Ensuring uniform standards within a category will not only enhance customer satisfaction but also maintain the credibility of your offerings.
