A medium-sized hotel at the heart of Ponorogo City, East Java Province with spacious parking, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. A quiet, green and cool atmosphere. Rates start from IDR 200,000.- if you pay directly (tax included) and more expensive if you book online, with the less expensive rooms on the second floor (no elevator). Motorbikes can park directly in front of the room under the roof. For a breakfast we had delicious pecel rices with fried tempe and a fried egg for each, with two hot drinks (4/5). Self-service refill mineral water in the lobby. Bad TV reception (1/5), so we didn't watch TV at all during our stay. Very good free WiFi (4/5). Read moreHomestay style layout with good 2* hotel level of facilities finished with a lovely cool garden feel. All rooms have an outside seating area with garden views. Ample parking near the rooms and the layout, lobby & facade are very nicely done. Hot & cold water in the simple but adequate bathrooms and the bedroom is simple, clean and air conditioned. Breakfast included if booked directly and the rates are very good for what is offered. A little tired looking in the bathrooms and sockets, switches etc with a typical function over form feel but better than many higher starred accommodations. We are visiting family and will be using Ndalem Katong again next time. It is the most convenient, comfortable and friendly place found so far...
