DISCLAIMER: if you're a tourist, please close this review ASAP. But if you're a budget traveler, carry on reading. ||TL;DR : good if you're looking on really low budget hotel. ||Got here by car from Jakarta. The hotel is kinda old. The restaurant is fine. They got white rice, fried rice with eggs and fried soybean cake and fried tofu. Available drinks for breakfast are fresh water, orange syrup (no orange juice sorry), tea, and coffee. They also serve bread loafs and toaster. ||The room is so unmaintained. Walls aren't repainted for a long time, furnishings are oldies from the chairs to the cupboard. I think the hotel is really, really tight on the budget so they don't have the time and money to update the furniture. Bed is good and comfy. But you don't have the control over aircon because room servants got em, so bring warm clothes and socks because it's getting unbelievably cold during the night. You still got blanket though. ||Mosquitos are everywhere, especialy at night time. . Please ask room servant to spray the room first before using or bring mosquito repellent if you hate mosquitos. ||Finally, the bathroom. In room 131 (my room), you got water puddle around the toilet bowl and it's getting slippery over time so be very careful. The bathtub is usable i think, but there are signs of rust in some area of the tub so it's better not to use it to soak in your body. Shower is fine though. No hanger line and drying exhaust, so alternatively you can dry your "not so wet" clothes by the...
Read moreVisiting this hotel again after 20+ years. This hotel is on of the olders hotels in Pekalongan. Different from other hotels in that era which have been refurbished by their new owner, this hotel is remain unchanged.
Despite its rooms are kind of old, it still value for money especially for a hotel is a small town since I got the room just below Rp 120K. However the onwer need to do a lot of improvement for rooms' toilet since it have been below standard. But in this kind of pandemic situation, it will be quite hard.
Two positive points I could give to this hotel are its free wifi is very reliable as well as friendliness of ita staffs, most of them have work for this...
Read moreThe hotel is located few meters from the train station, and at the main road. ATM, Supermarkets, petrol station, are all within walking distance. So it’s very convenient for us. The price is not too bad for a standard room (Rp.240.000), that includes air con, comfortable beds, TV and hot water, plus breakfast. The breakfast selection was not too bad either. We are most impressed with the service. The staff were very nice and helpful. If I’d ever go back to Pekalongan, i probably would...
