Review of a One-Night Stay at Rayz UMM Hotel Malang

I recently spent one night at Rayz UMM Hotel in Malang and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The first thing I noticed was the spaciousness of the hotel room. It was not only large but also very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The room's design and amenities were well thought out, making it an ideal place to relax after a day of activities.

The staff at Rayz UMM Hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating. From check-in to check-out, every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant. They were always ready to assist with any requests and provided excellent service throughout my stay.

The hotel's location is another significant advantage. It is easily accessible and conveniently situated near the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). This proximity to the campus is perfect for those visiting the university. Additionally, the hotel is close to various recreational spots around Malang, making it an excellent base for exploring the city's attractions.

In summary, my one-night stay at Rayz UMM Hotel Malang was wonderful. The spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms, combined with the friendly staff and convenient location, made my visit very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malang, whether for business, university...

I wont say that its a bad hotel, but definitely need more improvement in some details.

The staff just fine and helpful enough. Actually comfortable room but please, put more lights especially in the bathroom. Was coming around 1.30 PM but they made me to wait exactly till 2PM, and the bathroom condition should be better for a 4 stars hotel in my opinion. Kinda surprised about the breakfast area that is quite packed and funny its directly face the elevators. So when the elevators opened, boom, youre welcomed by the crowd straight away.

The most unpleasant points I experienced: The dine in room service, the food definitely a disaster. Rawon with no beef at all, only liver and gizzard! Are you kidding me 😃 the fried chicken that goes with their fried rice was totally cold! Brilliant. 25k Guava juice but taste like instant drink Guava flavored. I'm done. Worst experience ive ever had in a 4 stars hotel. Since then I had no interest for the breakfast. (The main reason i put 2 stars only for this review) As theres a small pool for the kids (I guess) and they didnt care about the mess which could be dangerous as you can see in the pic....

I have been staying UMM Inn Hotel since 2007. It's a huge surprise to see 100% turn over to Rayz Hotel.

It was a pleasure for me to meet Pak Budi (a gardener) since Covid-19. I would love to express my appreciation to (Staff at TF level) Fitri Kurniwati for her sincere assistance to make me & friends feel comfortable by accomodate our need.

The foods at breakfast restaurant are very delightful & especially Nasi Goreng Malangan (breakfast), is delicious, cook by A young chef with a bright future.

Lastly, to Rayz Hotel management. Keep it up the good work & the "courtesy culture" that all staff have shown, make me feel at home.

I will never regret to stay again & definitely will recommend to others.
