RedDoorz near Banyuwangi Kota Train Station — Hotel in Java

I stayed at this motel because of its budget-friendly price and the many good reviews it received. I didn’t expect much, and overall, it was okay for what I paid. The best part is its location—right next to the train station, making it very convenient for travel. However, that also means it’s extremely noisy, especially when the train passes by. The sound of the train honking was particularly annoying and made it hard to sleep.

There was no air conditioning, but fortunately, it was raining during my stay, so the temperature was manageable. If it had been a hotter day, it might have been uncomfortable. I think this one is the best one among other Reddoorz spots I've ever been. Traditional cottages (single bed rooms) meet with locomotive-cart-style (double bed) inn structures for you to pick, clean room, real hot shower within an unique style bathroom, amenities, wi-fi and its adjacency to the train station are all you can expect from a low budget accommodation. Nama aslinya motel ini adalah Ijenstar. Di propertynya sendiri, saat kesana nyari tuh ga ada signage RedDoorz samsek. Kita dtg jalan kaki dari stasiun Banyuwangi sekitar jam 23.40, mendekati motel, jalanan depan motel udah tanah berkerikil ga ada aspal, roda koper kita ampe rusak satu, penerangan juga sayup2 aja. Kalo cewek sendirian sih bakalan serem ya. Di bangunan resepsionis ga ada siapa2, gelap gulita, sy harus manggil2 baru nongol. Terus yg shocking, sy pesen kamar yg pake AC tapi dikasinya kamar yg kipas angin doang, waktu qta ngotot minta ganti, enteng aja dia blg kamar udah penuh. Terus cuma dikasi handuk 1 biji, pdhl di bookingan sy pilih 2 orang, waktu protes minta handuk lagi, katanya ga ada, semua lagi di laundry! Ga ada upaya bgt nyenengin customer mentang2 murah. Kamar gak pake AC tuh panas banget ye di suhu 32 C, mana buaaanyaaak bangett nyamuk!, di kasur jg byk serangga2, mana sepreinya sobek2. Besok paginya dahlah cepet2 aja cabut dari situ jam 8 pagi lgsg bhay, eneg banget. Gak akan lagi book di property nya RD...
