Swiss-Belinn Modern Cikande — Hotel in Java

Comfy room, good facilites but mediocre service.Have been here frequently, because no other option. It's the only 3 star hotel in the area. But I had bad experience when staying here, same case... twice.

There's this laundry service for guests who stay more than a night. Every morning, the clerk knock my room to ask if there's any laundry. And you know, as a hijabi, when someone knock the room, I must get dressed properly. I always said " ok, one second!" But this clerk suddenly OPEN my door with his key. Once, I complained to the receptionist. They apologized for 'not waiting for longer time' when knocking the door. When I asked what's the urgency to OPEN  the door JUST to check the laundry, you could've make a call instead to ask whether the guest require laundry service.... However, they only said it's the "procedure" to open the door and check the laundry basket inside🤷‍♀️

Ok I let it slide. But yesterday, same thing happen AGAIN. Another clerk just casually open guest's room after knocking briefly two times (he claimed he didnt hear when I said to wait). Well, I guess I'm gonna use my right to share publicly.

Service is mediocre for three star hotel. The security, bell boy staff and the female front desk are friendly... but the others are so so. Once, I hang out at the poolside in the noon with my daughter. Weather is hot, so I asked the staff to turn on the fan. She proceeded to ask another staff, then came to me to say, "sorry, we cannot turn on the fan" then just left 😅

One more thing, the breakfast also lack of varieties. Once I had breakfast, the 'prasmanan' menu was rice, fried rice, baked baby potato, red beans, and a chicken dish... I think you shouldn't provide 3 carbs in one time (afterwards, I always order room with no breakfast haha)

I really hope you can improve the service and take this review as a constructive...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Swiss-Belinn Cikande and I must say, it was an absolutely stunning experience from start to finish. The hotel's ambiance was welcoming and comfortable, setting the stage for a delightful stay.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to the entire staff at Swiss-Belinn Cikande for their dedication to providing exceptional service. From the moment I arrived until the time of my departure, I was consistently impressed by their professionalism and warmth.

In conclusion, my stay at Swiss-Belinn Cikande was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, delectable breakfast, and outstanding service made it a truly memorable experience. Breakfast was great, the variety of the menu is top notch (both Indonesian and Western food). I really enjoyed the local dishes like chicken porridge, noodle soup, fried rice, and BBQ chicken. They also had waffles, pancakes, toasts, pasta, and omelettes, which were great for those who prefer more Western taste. For drinks they have fresh melon and guava juice to iced tea, infused water, and good coffee. The restaurant is right beside the pool, so it’s nice and relaxing, especially if you’re travelling with kids. I also loved the soft Indonesian folk music playing in the background. One of the staff kindly offered me a free slice of Oreo cake, which was sweet and delicious. Service was a bit slow, but everyone was friendly, so it's still good.

The room was cozy and comfortable. The bed had clean sheets, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was clean and the towels smelled fresh and the toiletries were nice too. Everything is well maintained. Overall, I had a...
