Luminor Hotel Jember — Hotel in Jember

This hotel is previously Hotel Panorama and just changed management on 5th Dec 2018.||This hotel stay is by my family members. They love the hospitable and very courteous hotel staffs. They made my wife and my father inlaw felt so welcome there right from checking in at the front office. The hotel ambience is so calming and soothing with Koi ponds, gardens, continuous flowing water features etc.||||They got executive room which was big and with balcony. Very comfy beds and pillows.||||The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of dishes especially local dishes and changed daily. Delicious coffee and hot ginger drinks. Would be nice if they have traditional jamu drinks too.||However, wish that the bakery selection has more bread and croissants. The breads and buns there looked and tasted very dry.||||Really wish the hotel has a proper spa for them to indulge themselves. Dearest luminor hotel, yes I still give 5 stars even though a bit disappointed. no welcome drink but I understand because it's fasting month, and maybe this is the hotel's policy not to provide welcome drinks during Ramadan. I took a deluxe room in room 304,. The room was wet from under the refrigerator, 2x I asked the staff to come and help mop it. but the water didn't stop. until I was too lazy to contact the hotel and chose to mop it myself using the available mat. lots of ants on the walls of the room, and red spots on the pillowcases in the room. The water on the water dispenser are empty. What I like from your hotel your staff is friendly, even though some need to be retrained and the hotel location is strategic. I had a business trip on the last November 2019 and I stayed at this hotel because of the following consideration.|Good point:|(1) This hotel has a good gardens with small resort concept.|(3) The restaurant is also nice with locals food and western food as well. |(4) Room cleanest was good with minimalist concept.|Point to improve: |(1) We can still hearing the noises from the cafe. It was disturbed during the night. It would be better if the room could be more sound proof and i think it better to having elegant music with small volume instead of hearing heavy sounds music. |(2) the bathroom was too small without separator between the shower area and water closet area. So that the water from shower was spread on all bath room area, it cannot keep to dry in particular area.||Overall, it was good experience to stay here....
