For you that have destination to Selayar Islands, one of nice hotel in Selayar island is Rayhan Square Hotels. This hotel in main roads and closed with Government Office. You are also easy to found this hotel from travel website. The price mostly is moderate for budget room. If you want exclusive you can get other room in this hotel. With clean bathroom and bed room you can enjoy during night and got the breakfast in the morning. Though not closed with beach, the transportation to beach not difficult to get such as motorcycle and car rent. But you must be smart to chose it to get cheap rent price. ||||If you want go to other island you can get information from person in the hotel. On the surface, the property looks great. However, a western traveler might be surprised. My room is small, a queen bed mostly fills it. The sheets look "tired". The bathroom and shower are very small. There is no toilet paper: not an unintentional omission, you're expected to use the spray as is common in the region. The shower has no temperature control, I'm not sure if the water is slightly warmed or just tap temperature. Oh, those aren't complementary mints, they're moth-ball "air fresheners" found on the shower floor.||||There has been a bizarre cacophony from time to time in the hallways, like hoards of children playing. Staff is cheating, be careful. We brought our laundry and it came back with a receipt for 5 kg. We know that it weights no more than 2-3 kg, but staff insisted it is 5 kg without any willingness to weigh it again. After some time they just said, ok 3 kg without even checking the weight on scales.

Staff starts shouting and laughing in the corridor at 7 a.m. Loud music from reception is heard in the rooms until late evening. Fountain next to room door makes a very annoying peeing sound 24/7. Even deluxe room is almost without window. No toilet paper. No hot water in the shower. Not tasty, poor and...
