Relax Bali Resort, Kubu, Bali — Hotel in Kecamatan Kubu

What a great feeling to be giving absolutely deserved 5 stars!!! This hotel has everything you need for a perfect, relaxing holiday with no worries! We found it accidentally in the last minute and couldn’t believe our luck and happiness. We booked the standard room but they had some works done there so they moved us to a bungalow for free. The bungalow is amazing, AC worked great, you have a view to the pool, trees and sea and the bungalows are not too close to each other so you still feel like you’re there all alone. I absolutely loved the shower with no roof! The breakfast has options and is very tasty. Have to say, the food in the restaurant in general is really good! In our week there we never felt like we had to look for some other place to eat (even though we can be picky eaters). When we checked in, we were both given a voucher for a free 30-min massage! (Talk about good hospitality) They have a lot of board games, chess, table tennis, pool table, yoga and circular trainings organized for guests and free rental of kayaks and snorkeling equipment. We couldn’t believe how we didn’t have to pay for anything extra as everything is provided just for free. The hotel also had a dive center, which was really important for us as my partner specifically wanted a place to complete a diving course. Unfortunately at the time we were there the diving instructor was unavailable and we got a bit upset but it didn’t last long because the amazing manager of this hotel called around all the dive centers in the area, apologized a bunch of times and found us a diving center that picked us up and dropped us of (again, for free). It was just 5min by car away and the fact that everything was organized was just amazing. The dive sites around Tulamben are definitely worth visiting so that’s another point for the location of the hotel. In the end of the stay you can also chose a free hand made bracelet and a keychain. Relax Bali was beautiful low-key beach resort with full access to a dive shop. They had a spa with massages, a full restaurant and two different relaxing pools. Breakfast was included with our stay. It was a very chill island vibe. We stayed in the standard rooms which were exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. There was an outdoor shower with plenty of privacy. Looking out our window we could see the ocean views and the pool out front. There is even a treehouse type structure that we could climb up to and watch the sunrise in the morning. The beach is very rocky, so don’t expect white sand. We also did a day of diving at the resort and were able to walk steps from the beach into an amazing coral reef. Our guide was Septi and he was very fun and attentive. We even saw a shark swimming (the nice reef shark kind) and sea turtles, super colorful coral & fish. While we were there for a romantic vacation, there were several families with kids, and the resort was incredibly family-friendly. They have several larger rooms suitable for family stays. They have kayaks you can borrow as well. It took about 3 to 4 hours by car to get there from the Airport/Kuta area, but if you have a driver, there are some cool attractions on the way in route, including water, palaces and temples. We stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and our 4 year old. |Location: About 30 mins NW of Amed, this place is very chill, relaxing and has amazing positive vibes.|Our stay: Deluxe Room very spacious and clean. Room/bed cleaning offered every day.|Transport/Transfer: Is available and at an extra charge from/To[location]|The Resort: Has so much to offer in regards with activities, pool table, a small soccer field, small yoga Shala area, massage/spa as well, in house Diving excursions/lessons. Wi fi is great.|On-site restaurant: They have some amazing food (daily fresh seafood) and other great selections. The cook(s) and the staff in general are simply amazing and very professional|If you’ve never visited this area (Kubu/Tulamben) of Bali, I highly recommend Relax Bali Resort for someone that has passion for traveling, learning, diving, sight-seeing and experiencing amazing culture away from the hustle/bustle of other well-known areas.
