Amaris Hotel Kupang — Hotel in Kupang

I just been in one day here, the FOD really not experienced to handled the guest and is not nice, i was booked the room from yesterday 6 Aug and I arrived today morning 7 Aug, I should have breakfast this morning because is included but he said i can only have breakfast tomorrow 8 Aug, but i said I supposed to check out today 7 Aug, because i book the room from yesterday 6 Aug, so i explained i should have the BF today 7 Aug because i already booked the room from yesterday 6 Aug and finnally he understood and let me to have the BF this morning 7 Aug. And I ask him to give me late check out around 2 pm and he said I must check out 12pm and max 1pm more than that i must pay 200k extra he said, but i said to him i just check in today, why can't i have few more hours ? He said is in the system and he cant change it, i told him to ask his manager because i dont like the way he handled the guest, and also he make mistake doing the flashing my room card, so I had to go down again to reflash. And after BF i meet another FOD to allow me check out after 2 pm, little arguing again about the sistem wont allowe me she said, and I explained that i just been check in this morning, and finnally she give me permission. They should not do this, although is in the system, but system can be adjusted is not a big matter, but the way they handled the guest is not so nice. Hopefully they willin to change the way they work!. As I know other hotel allowe me to have late check out around 2pm. And Breakfast also not that good, Im sorry i dont think i cant give this hotel 2-3 stars until they can improve front desk service and breakfast. Other than that this hotel is good essy access to anywhere, free...

The hotel in general is nice and clean, well located in the city of Kupang, with good facilities.||||However, the service is VERY dissapointing. When we arrived at 14.00, we found that our rooms were not ready yet. On the third day of my stay, I found myself with no towels in my room, despite me hanging the towel in the bathroom in the morning, the housekeeping staff seems to have taken the towel without leaving a fresh one behind. ||When I called the reception at 7 PM for new towels, I waited for 30 minutes and the towels never showed up, I ended up having to leave for dinner meeting without showering first. As I returned to the hotel at 9 PM, I asked again directly to the reception for new towels, and waited for an hour, still no towels... I called again to the reception, again asking for the towels, and still no towel up to midnight, when I gave up, and ended up using a small emergency towel I brought with me.||||During breakfast, I waited for 30 minutes for some eggs that never showed up. Also, my plate was taken away even though I havent finished eating, when I walked away to grab some water. The taste of the food is also quite bland, and the variety doesn't change much from one day to the next.||||Management, please improve your staff's service quality, as it is such a shame that such a nice hotel have such poor...

I stay at this hotel a couple of time for bussiness purpose. Here is my brief review :|1. The hotel is cheap (they are budget hotel) they cost me 300k rupiahs /20ish USD a night.||2. They have FREE Shuttle from and to the airport (and they are not that far from airport actually) which is nice.its one of few hotel with free shuttle back and fort to airport in kupang area.||3. The room, well a little cramped with two bed but yeah since its a budget hotel,its worth it i guess.||4. The receptionist is helpful but make sure you repeat your request, they mistaken sometimes.||5. The food is good, and it had excellso resto just the side of the lobby.||6. The location is great to, you can walk to hypermart like in 5 minutes or less from the hotel, you can find stuffs and eatery there.||7. Theres also kfc nearby, just across the street in front of the hypermart.||8. A line of taxi and ojek (local motorbike transport) is infront of the hotel so you can easily get a transport.(i recommend you guys to use a taxi with argo that gogo taxi kupang find the number @google :p but they dont understand english well soo,um well..)||9. The hotel has a swimming pool by the resto.||So, if you guys looking for a budget stay in kupang with decent facility and free shuttle, i really recomend this hotel.||Hope it help.|Ask...
