Naka Hotel — Hotel in Kupang

I spent 2 days and 1 night in Hotel Naka. First impression when I entered the lobby and meet the front office, modern-new-clean-friendly hospitality. ||||The room is very big, I stayed with a single bed (king size bed). All furnitures set in modern style, but I don't really feel comfortable with the size of the room. It was too big for me who stayed alone. But it was clean, as well as, the bathroom. ||||Bathroom: have standard amenities (toothpaste and the brush, soap, shampoo)||||Overall, the room was good.||||I had breakfast there. There were not much choices of menu, but okay. They have bread (one type which white bread) with margarine, jam ; one type cereal with milk ; rice - noodle - omelette - vegetables ; porridge ; soup ; banana nugget. ||||There was a pool there. It was good and clean. I like it. ||||You may hard to find some foods outside the hotel. But, there was a coffee shop near the hotel (they served great coffee there). ||||Well, I think so far it is worth to live there again if you find...

Hotel with Good Potential but POOR Execution

Extremely dissatisfied with our 3-night experience at this hotel. From check-in until after check-out we experienced a long list of disappointments. The hotel has lots of potential and the service staff were all mostly kind, however it appears management has many poor policies and procedures and do not train their staff in good customer service. Big disappointment was we chose this hotel because it had a pool and we were staying with our 3 kids over the weekend. We went to the pool at 10:30am on Saturday and were told the pool will be closing at 12pm as they have a private function later that evening. We cannot believe they would close the pool for inside guests at 12pm on Saturday due to an evening function. This along with several other disappointments resulted in us moving to another similarly priced hotel with better facilities and much better customer service for the rest of our stay in Kupang. We highly recommend...

The hotel is good, clean and really spacious. The room decoration is minimalist. All good so far. The wifi quality is good. Some things need to be improved: the aircon was too noisy causing by old air con, i think. The breakfast menu is very standard and not many choices. 3 days of staying and the menu is quite similar. The food and drink costs at the restaurant were not expensive. The restaurant and car parking is also really spacious. The hotel is located beside the Lippp Mall and near some shops so it is easy for you to find anything. For those who like jogging, the hotel is near the Nostalgia Park which is good for jogging. Hotel price is not so expensive....
