LaaCabana lombok Glamping — Hotel in Lombok

I had the most incredible glamping experience in Indonesia. From the moment I arrived, Antony and Reno made me feel at home with their warm, welcoming, and fun personalities. They were always accommodating and went out of their way to help, making the stay truly special.

Every day, they organised different activities and experiences, ensuring there was always something exciting to do. They employ local people and help them learn English, creating a space that is considerate and supportive of the community. Their efforts to foster inclusivity and a safe environment for all guests really stood out.

The breakfast was excellent, and they were always offering drinks to guests. One of the most memorable experiences was the family dinners with local families, where the food was the best I had in Indonesia. Meeting locals, spending time with their families, and sharing a meal was an unforgettable experience, perfect for families and children.

The glamping bungalows were beautifully decorated with an incredible level of detail, creating a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. The hammocks were a wonderful addition, offering stunning views of the surroundings. Their lovely dog was the cutest thing ever and made the experience even more enjoyable.

Beyond just accommodation, they provide English lessons to local children, offering a great way to engage with the community. They also take guests out for coffee, camping, and other activities, making every moment feel special.

We stayed three nights at LaaCabana Camping and it was probably the best experience of our entire Indonesia trip. Antoni and Reno are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful - they took us along in their daily life and made us feel like friends. We arrived without much of a plan, and they created a wonderful program for us: rice fields, waterfalls, snorkeling, a remote island, swimming in the mangroves and even visiting local families who cooked for us - a truly unique experience you wouldn't normally have as a tourist. They really care about you and make your stay unforgetable.

The campsite was always lively with locals dropping by to practice English, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. All people around there are so lovely. The accommodation was great and had everything we needed, and I especially loved Reno's banana pancakes every morning. Overall, a truly special and unforgettable stay. I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at La cabana and can highly recommend it to whoever is travelling through Lombok.

The owners, Reno and Antoni, made me feel very welcome and ensured I was comfortable throughout my stay. Organizing excursions and activities was very easy, as they both were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and saw to it that I got both the best experience and best deals. A lot of the activities gave the opportunity to immerse myself into the Indonesian culture, whether it was through family dinners, city visits, or trekking through the nature.

The accommodation itself was great. The tents were very comfortable and cozy, and it had all the necessary amenities. Of course the best part was being in the middle of the Lombok jungle which gave a sense of peace and calmness.
