Radiya Guest House — Hotel in Lombok

After reading some of these reviews I wanted to point out how AMAZING our stay has been in this guesthouse. Yes it is simple and basic BUT what do you expect for the price? The hospitality of the hosts has made it an incredible stay bringing us tea and coffee throughout the day, hiring us his scooter for a very reasonable price which made the area even more accessible.

Yes you do hear the road and prayers throughout the day and early in the morning but this adds to the Indonesian experience.

He also arranged for us to be dropped off at Bangsal Port early in the morning. He made us breakfast after we had finished a 2 hour hike which technically this wasn’t breakfast time so he didn’t have to accommodate us but he happily insisted which we were glad of as it was delicious and filled us up!

Highly recommend if your staying for a couple of nights, perfectly located to do anything you want to do within the area.

Pergasingan Hill starting point is literally a 5 minute ride away. Bukit Selong is also only 5...

Radiya Guesthouse is located on the main road in Sembalun, making it the ideal location for your trekk on Mt. Rinjani. It is also the Secretariat for the organization of Rinjani100, the awesome brutal raaaaaaad trailrace that occurs every 1st Saturday of May on the volcano.||Being a trailrunner & an absolute fan of Rinjani100, it was for me such a treat to be accommodated at Radiya's. I've been warmly welcomed, and got all the comfort I needed to prepare before the race & to rest a bit after it.||Radiya's is located on the main road, so it can be a bit noisy during day time with endless traffic flow ; it calms down at night, but in all cases, earplugs are always good companions :)||Bungalows include in-suite bathroom, but you're a mountaineer, so you don't expect hot water, do you ?||||Rates are really friendly & owners are the loveliest...

This is a great option for budget-minded travellers. We had a choice of the raised huts or a regular room - we chose the latter. It was located towards the back of the property so we were away from the road noise. The room is not huge, but big enough. The bathroom was clean, cold shower only but fine given the climate. The host provides a large thermos of boiling hot water and tea and coffee so you can sort yourself out as desired. Nice banana pancakes for breakfast included as well. At 225K a night, this was good value. Nearby options- short walk - for lunch and dinner too. would happily stay again. The geo-homestays in the village were as expensive but not...
