I love this place and the family who operate it. I arrived by motorcycle after travelling from Sekongkang in S-W Sumbawa that day. It rained heavily from Suela all the way to the homestay. I received a very warm welcome. The room was spotless. The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly on spotless white sheets. The hot water shower was just what I needed after being drenched by the rain. That night Pak Armasih placed my motorcycle under cover - a kind and thoughtful gesture which was most appreciated. My breakfast omelette was delicious and was followed by very smooth and flavour laden coffee which is grown and processed on the premises. I purchased 200gms to take back to Australia. You will be very happy you chose to stay and Rinjani Family Homestay. Trust me - I have 54 years of travel experience...
Read moreWhat started as an awkward welcome soon turned to be a great stay! |We've planned to camp on Pergasingan Hill, but it turned out we've booked the wrong trekking organizer. Thanks to Mr Armasih, he quickly helped us and arranged everything for us. He even introduced us to his nephew who opens a library for the village people. Too bad we didn't bring any book with us. |It was a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We ended stay longer. Read moreThis place is one of the best places to stay in Rinjani. We came to stay here for 2 nights and the owner and his wife were so nice to us.
Room comes with free breakfast, you can choose pancakes or omelettes (it all tastes good). Local coffee or tea is also served.
The owner has a coffee farm and I’m lucky that i got a chance to try. This Arabica is something else!!! It’s awesome when you drink with fresh milk or condensed milk. We got 2 bags to take home as it’s so good.
On our final day, the owner was willing to take us to Kuta even though the route takes more than 2 hours and a half with steep roads.
Thank you for letting us experience Rinjani’s hospitality. I will recommend my friends to come and stay with you guys....
