Artha Cottages — Hotel in Lumajang

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Artha Cottages, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. This beautiful chalet-type hotel is the perfect getaway from the usual tourist spots, offering an oasis of tranquility and charm.

🏡 Unique Accommodation: The individual white houses, each with its own private toilet and garden, provide an intimate and cozy atmosphere. I particularly loved the small garden in front of my spacious room, where I could bask in the sun and enjoy the serene surroundings.

🏊‍♂️ Amenities: The large pool is a fantastic place to relax and unwind, making every swim a refreshing experience.

🍽️ Exceptional Food: The dining experience here is unmatched. Every meal I’ve had at Artha Cottages has been exceptional. The portions are generous, the quality is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. The dinner menu is interesting, i saw japanese food, western food and local indonesian food. The fried noodles we ordered was not only delicious but also incredibly satisfying. Every food i had was too sweet and too saltish, but here was just nice.

👩‍💼 Outstanding Service: The staff here are incredibly polite, helpful, and always well-dressed. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality truly made my stay special.

Great setting but a bit overpriced (400k). The design is cute, several villa all spread around a beautiful pool. The grass is well maintained, the pool water is really clear and welcoming. The rooms are just ok, the tv is 21 ", the bed mattress is comfortable, the aircon works well without noise, the bathroom is small and clean. It's not a luxury resort, but it has a upscale feel. The breakfast room is oversized but maybe is used as restaurant for outside guests. It's wide, bright, and beautiful. The breakfast choice is poor : soto Ayam or toasts with eggs. It's just eatable Obviously, the Semeru eruption, and the bad roads are hurting business and it shows a little in the way building are maintained. ARTHA cottagesbis just a few month old, but it already seems open for 2 years. Not bad, great setting, but I have stayed in better...

We stayed there for 1 night, first of all the location was really good just 15 minutes from the waterfall, but rooms are functional with a big bed and quite clean, batheoom could be cleaner

Negative: -no water dispenser, we asked the staff to refill our bottles in the kitchen and they wouldn't do it, I think that all hotels should have a water dispenser to safe plasic bottles because of Indonesias big plastic problem -the breakfasts was the worst I had in Indonesia: there is chicken in the fried rice so all vegetarian people cant eat it, besides there is chicken soup so I ended up eating plain toast with some gelly like marmalade, -at dinner there are also very little vegetarian options -there is a mosque nearby so you can hear quite loud noise for preying hour (earliest before sunrise so for us in the middle...
