Puji Homestay — Hotel in Mataram

We arrived around 9am as we got a shuttle bus from Kuta Lombok that left at 7:30am. The man at reception was welcoming and helped us with our bags before letting us sit in the communal area. He sorted the room for us so that we could get settled in early! ||The homestay is set around an open air courtyard and feels very clean and friendly! Our room was basic but again clean and comfortable with good working air conditioning. The room also has a tv with Fox Movies, which was helpful as one of us unfortunately wasn't very well and had to stay in for the evening! The wifi is fast and reliable! Although it wasn't a problem for us, it must be noted that there is only cold water in the shower! ||For breakfast they offer eggs, toast and banana pancakes all made to order. We asked for two pancakes and they were delicious along with a cup of tea and coffee. ||The location is great! A 30 second walk to an Alfamart which has all the basics. It is also just a two minute walk from a large shopping mall.||We only stayed one night but overall it was great value for money, clean and friendly! Thank you to the staff that made us feel...

We had a very pleasant stay with this lovely kindhearted family!! 🥰 The room is comfortable and spacious with a double bed, small table, wardrobe, bathroom with shower (cold water only - but it’s nice as it’s so hot anyways) and clean toilet with toilet paper as well as a bidet. Ibu Putu made us a yummy breakfast every morning. Honestly the most delicious omelette we’ve had on our travels, so flavourful with many veggies! 😋 It’s a nice quiet traditional balinese complex with many smiles and cute kids playing around. We felt very much at home and a part of the family! From booking just one night we ended up extending until 4 nights. They even had a balinese temple celebration whilst we were there and we were invited to join and eat with them. It’s been such a joy to stay here. Puji Homestay has an affordable price but not "cheap". This is my first visit in Lombok (Mataram), and randomly picked this hotel to stay. Thankfully I chose this hotel cause their staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and cozy with air conditioner supported, but hot water are not available in the shower room. Beds are also comfortable. |I'm really in love with the garden in the center of the building, they are so powerful with a Ganecha statue lays in it. They provide parking lot and airport transfer in affordable price, so I need no worries if I arrived in Lombok very late at night. And, oh, food! The foods are awesome!
