This hotel was decent but not great. The rooms were nice, airconditioned, cable and with wifi in some rooms. The bathrooms however, smelled terrible. We stayed in several different rooms, because we left and came back, and they both had the same problems. They were not ventilated, the fan did not work well and they smelled of mildew. Breakfast, which was included, was good. The onsite restaurant, however, was overpriced and inconsistent. We chose to not eat there unless we had to. The hotel claimed to offer payment by credit card, but it was only available sometimes, when the internet happened to be working (not all of the time). It's a great hotel resort facing the pristine sea, overlooking the Mansinam island. The owner is a jovial, friendly and down-to-earth. Nelson is the manager; has inherited his parent's business. There are few tourists here as the Manokwari, Papua is not a tourist destination. The hotel resort instead is frequented by government officials who hold sprawling and lavish meetings or parties and can be a nuisance.
