Bali Eco Village — Hotel in Pulau Bali

When we first arrived, we were upgraded to a bungalow, which had an absolutely stunning view and was very quaint. Some of the previous reviewers have remarked that the rooms seem run-down, but when we were there the room was top-notch and very beautiful. It would have been nice to know that there would be construction work on the new restaurant throughout the day, because that was kind of bothersome, but as soon as we approached the staff about the noise, Juli immediately offered to get the builders to stop for the day. ||||The food was DIVINE, some of the best we have had while in Bali and definitely of a high quality. The pancakes with chocolate are unlike anything I've ever tasted - if you see them on the menu while you're there, you MUST try them!!||||A couple of notes though:||It gets chilly in the evening, and sometimes even during the day, so bring a sweater and long pants. ||||The wifi is atrocious. They use a phone as a wifi hotspot, and it works only some of the time and doesn't reach the rooms.||||There isn't much to do in the area, besides the activities offered by the hotel. Be aware that the bicycles they have aren't the best. The nearby town can be reached by foot in around 20 minutes, but doesn't offer much except a little shop where you can buy basic items like sodas and water.||||The staff are generally not very good at English, although they are incredibly sweet and helpful. However, communication is a problem. ||||There is noisy construction work for the next six months.||||Overall, though, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend Bali...

I stayed at Bali Eco Village for one night and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. They were knowledgeable and always willing to assist with any inquiries or requests.

The food at the eco village was absolutely delicious. I had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, and each one exceeded my expectations. The ingredients used were fresh and locally sourced, adding to the overall eco-friendly experience.

One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning views. The eco village is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, offering a tranquil and serene atmosphere. Whether it was waking up to a breathtaking sunrise or relaxing in the afternoon while taking in the picturesque scenery, the views provided a sense of peace and tranquility.

The sauna facilities at the eco village were top-notch. The sauna was well-maintained and provided a rejuvenating experience. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding areas.

Additionally, I appreciated that the eco village is dog-friendly. It was a pleasure to be able to bring my furry friend along for the trip. The staff was accommodating and provided amenities and spaces specifically designed for dogs.

Overall, my stay at Bali Eco Village was nothing short of amazing. The pleasant staff, delicious food, stunning views, excellent sauna, and dog-friendly environment all contributed to a memorable experience. I highly recommend this eco village for anyone looking for a sustainable and enjoyable...

Loved being hosted by Ursula at Bali Eco Village.||Google Maps got me there easily and it was an adventure to find the way.||||I enjoyed some of the loveliest food while staying there - breakfast always fresh fruit and delicious bread and jams. The omelette was excellent. Dinner was a cap cay or a bihum (best Ive ever had!) ||||Location was stunning. Lovely walks, welcoming greeting but the two house dogs Lilly and Lulu.||||Bungalow rooms were very comfortable and good showers, kettle in the room. Very spacious and a delightful fireplace.||||Ursula was an absolute gem and I felt like I was one of the family. I want to return just to see her!||||I usually take my own non-dairy milk with me as I drink A LOT of tea and there was no refrigerator onsite. This is because it is a true eco-retreat and makes a lot of sense. So just don’t take items that need a ride with you! NOTE: all the food was incredibly fresh - this is a just a helpful note for travellers.||||Wifi it should be noted was available in the lounge & dining area only. I do believe in non-covid times this may change but needs to be stated for future travellers so they can prep for it. ||||Highly recommend a few nights stay here for some peace and tranquility on the side of a mountain!||||PS Take a jumper!
