HIDE Trailhouse Bali — Hotel in Pulau Bali

We recently stayed at Hide Bali and there were a lot of red flags. First off, if you are coming from the US you will get overcharged. A bottle of gin in the refrigerator that Remi will let you purchase is 389,000 IDR, but at the market it’s only 175,000 IDR. Everything he charges for inside the villa is overpriced. Also do NOT eat the food from the chef because we caught the “Bali Belly”. We ate the food for 2 days out of our stay and we noticed our urine turned red and we felt sick. We had bad diarrhea and so we told him we didn’t want food from the chef anymore. After 24 hours our urine returned back to normal and we felt better. Bali belly comes from the chef not cleaning her hands and properly cleaning the food. So be aware!!! We did love the staff though, Pak and Lia and our assigned driver was so amazing!! They were always helpful and nice! They do have 2 dogs that’s always there so if you are allergic or don’t like dogs then this isn’t the place for you. If you don’t like lizards, flies or any insects, this isn’t the place for you because they are everywhere!! The room is nice, the bed is big, the bathroom is big and we loved the pool. But we would not come back because after we left a review on Airbnb about our honest experience, the host Remi was so mad about our review he tried to get it taken down by saying it was discrimination. Airbnb declined his request because they felt my review was honest. He also tried to say we broke the bed which was also a lie because in his review he said that we left the place in “perfect condition”, he just wanted money because he was upset about the review!! He is not an honest host. He is very spiteful and if you leave a bad review he will try all types of ways to get it taken down! I wish his staff could work for someone different because they are so nice and the driver he assigned is so nice but we don’t think he gets all the money that Remi is being paid. I would never rent here again!! Warning be aware of what could happen if you leave a bad review for this place! He will try to request money that he isn’t owed, he will try to flag your Airbnb account and report you! Thank you Airbnb for not allowing him to scam me and get my account removed. Paradise Found!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this incredible villa in Bali, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The moment we stepped through the gates, we were blown away by the sheer scale and beauty of the property.

The villa itself is enormous, with plenty of space for our group to relax and unwind. The decor is stylish, elegant and modern comforts.

But the real pièce de résistance is the stunning outdoor space. The pool is enormous and sparkling clean, surrounded by lush greenery. The scenery is simply breathtaking, with rolling hills and towering trees stretching as far as the eye can see.

We spent our days lounging by the pool, taking dips to cool off, and exploring the surrounding countryside. The villa's staff were friendly and attentive, always happy to help with any requests or recommendations.
