The Hotel said they didn't have a record of our booking when we arrived, I had my Booking.com confirmation on both my email and the App though. Reception said we couldn't have the rooms we booked due to this. Ketut at reception said that Booking.com had the old email of his boss, I explained that this was an established hotel and business that should be able to update their contact details. The room the put us in was on the third floor and the lift was broken. There are huge open windows on the stairs with no guard railing and I was worried with our 3 year old. The rooms they put us in felt like they had been closed for years. They smelt mouldy, had the paint and plaster pealing and the window wouldn't close (the handle had been broken off). We took a walk through the hotel garden, the pool was cloudy with a tinge of green half the fish ponds were empty or near empty with sludge. It was then that we saw that the suites we had booked were all unoccupied. I spoke with Ketut at reception again who said that they were booked for later. I said yes but they are available now and they’re the rooms we booked and again showed him my booking confirmation. I then rang the Booking.com number for Indonesia. The lady I spoke to was great. My Indonesian phone credit ran out whilst on hold but she did speak to the hotel and I then said again to reception how unhappy I was. Ketut called the other people (Government) who had booked the rooms and then told us we are very lucky we can have the room we book one month prior. To top it all off when we went to pay we were told that they do not accept Visa or MasterCard as stated in the hotel information. But you could use the ATM out the front and spend a fortune in fees...
Read moreLate night arrival and just wanted to sleep||We asked kIndly for a room with working Aircon but the aircon was so old and broken I had to move the bed to get just a puff of Aircon and maybe if I complained they way have given me one off the dooms that have new ac as I noticed in the morning with the very loud people In the corridor all morning and walking past a couple rooms was not so hard to notice the new air conditioning hanging on the walls on some of the rooms with open doors. ||Apart from a terrible night's sleep I really have to mention that the room is absolutely disgustingly dirty||The carpets that have obviously never been cleaned or changed in the life of the hotel are a absolute shocker with filthy diry and cigarettes burns and what looks like several dogs had used the carpet for toilet paper||The walls are same with marks. Everywhere maybe from livestock? ||To the GM you would really need to try a lot harder to make this worse then it already is and it is clearly shown in the tripadvisor reviews. ||My partner had breakfast and it way as well have been served off the carpet because that's how it tasted ||Lastly the price come on I am staying longterm in another hotel and the price is considerably cheaper more then 30% and is clean, quiet lovely rooms not to. Mention modern with very comfortable beds and linnen and a TV from this century not a CRT that is almost Impossible to find anywhere else in a hotel that charges the price you do||STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IT'S A FESTERING DUMP ||I should have...
Read moreWe check-in late at night time, and we reserved suite rooms, the room is large with bath tub, shower, kitchenette,ac,tv and a living room but really really need maintenance, a side from staffs are friendly and willing to help (they fix the door) the sliding doors was locked but there's a gap on the side, the window curtain broke and damage, hot water is not running, the wardrobe has hole on the bottom corner (maybe the rat eat the woods😨),carpets so dirty..for the amount of money that we pay really doesn't worth it. The local government should take action for this (as far I read is under local government management), this is embarrassing to give this kind of service to the guest!! I am not even bother to talk about food etc! This hotel supposed to be beautiful hotel too bad it doesn't...
