Nag Shampa is just the most magical retreat set far away from the hustle and bustle of modern day Bali. As soon as you walk through those ancient wooden doors, you're transported into the most serene luxurious estate where you can really unwind and relax amongst nature. The in-house staff are so accommodating and lovely - and there are tonnes of activities nearby. Such a hidden gem and the perfect place to rejuvenate after visiting other parts of Bali.

We've seen many incredible properties, but Nag Shampa Private Estate is truly special. A secluded retreat where luxury meets nature, offering full immersion in the jungle while indulging in absolute comfort. The staff is warm, professional, and attentive, making every moment feel effortless. Leaving this paradise and returning to normal life is the hardest part—already dreaming of coming back!

Nag Shampa is paradise in the jungle. Getting there was easy as they collect you and take you to the estate. Chocky and Bintang (probably not their real names hehe) were brilliant hosts - ALL the staff were attentive, pleasant, kind, well-mannered and happy to assist in any way possible. The rooms were spacious, clean and the amenities were well-equipped, there as also zero noise from surrounding villas. Changing literally anything for mealtimes etc was done without a single glance of upset. The whole experience was 100% defined. Faultless and flexible, but I had one little problem.||Below is not a criticism, it is more an observation from someone with mobility problems and how they would be affected in the estate. ||I have mobility issues and am somewhat unsteady on my feet. This became problematic in the respect that the estate has a lot of wooden steps which are hard to climb without a handrail, and they spiral off leading to each villa. They're aesthetically beautiful. To find my way around easier, I used the curved stairway to the side of the dining room, using the wooden frame as a makeshift banister. It would be easy enough for the owners to fit a wooden handrail in this position and not spoil the look of the estate. Something to think about. One of the villas could also be fitted with some appliances to help people like myself have a pleasant experience. Handrails in showers etc. ||Some of us suffered splinters in our feet from the wooden slats where the sun loungers are. We did have an excessive amount of rain which may have exacerbated this due to swelling, but it might need sanding and sealing. ||The floors in the villas are waxed, which makes them very, very slippy when the rugs are laid on top. This affected all of us, but the attentive staff did roll mine away to make it safer. ||This feedback is in no way to add any disappointment with the experience, but to hopefully bring forward things that might be looked into and acted on if thought necessary. ||On the whole, it was a...

Dear all, trust me, I experienced tons of real luxury villas in Bali...And this one is just like love at the first sight! Maybe the way to reach this truly paradisiac place would seem a bit long for some of you guys, especially if you are coming straight from the airport to your final destination : Taro (Around 1.30 hour) But this little time wasted driving towards this stunning place totally worth it. Plus you will be not that far of the sublime location of Ubud and only 3 mns from the extraordinary Elephant safari Parc. For those who really prefer to stay close to the beach stop reading this, you will be just lost among beautiful rice paddies and the lush jungle. Then you will discover this unforgettable property...I was literally speechless by discovering the beauty of this marvelous space 😍 The garden, jeeze! Awesome! The buildings and its large open living areas, so much of pleasant spaces ! And what to say of the super warm welcome of the friendly owners Sandrine and Eric...Very attentionate and passionate people, and so discreet! Well, just fell in love it's true, and certainly the vibes there are for something. You will instantly feel wellness and serenity once you will enter this place. And for all those who love yoga, this is the perfect place to be, with this huge pavillon surrounded by water and nestled in this superb garden as I mentioned before...Look at the videos through YouTube, you will be certainly under the charm as well 😄 I feel so lucky for having experienced this lovely stay there and glad now to share it with you! I am sure you will do the...

Nag Shampa is the most magical, impressive and serene place I have visited. A true hidden gem, and one of the few places in Bali that is still surrounded by luscious nature and the sounds of wildlife when you wake up and go to sleep. It feels like real Bali. The rooms are decorated in ancient java and balinese style carvings, sculpture and art which really transports you to another realm. We loved all of the in-house staff, so generous, caring and attentive making us feel so welcome and at home. The team of chefs prepared the most delicious fresh food straight from their organic gardens and we left feeling like new people! Did not...
