For example, he offers free drinking water for everyone by treating tap water with special filters. The green area is extremely lovingly designed. There are two pools, one in the shade and one in the sun. There are beautiful palm trees and plants everywhere on the property. On the complex there are several bungalows or houses made of wood that you can rent as a rooms.||There is a cold water barrel with 4.3 degrees Celsius water. The host uses this every morning as a ritual to get up, but it is available to everyone. We tried it ourselves and I can only recommend: Just try it, it feels good! ||We turned the larger 4-person bungalow with single beds into a double room. The bungalows are made entirely of wood, which means you can hear your neighbors well :) If that bothers you, just take one of the double rooms (double bed, instead of single beds pushed together), then you have your own bungalow. We were advised of this when booking, but it wasn't a problem for us. The bungalows all have small wooden windows but behind them a real glass pane, so that everything can be closed properly, e.g. because of mosquitoes. A perfectly aligned (not aimed at the bed, or hanging over the bed) and very quiet AC completes the room. We're light sleepers and we were still able to leave the air conditioning on all night, something we've never been able to do in any resort before. Behind the bungalow you can access the partly external bathroom through a sliding door. This means that around 70% of the bathroom is covered, such as the shower, the sink and the toilet. The rain shower was super hot and has nice water pressure to give a good rinse on long hair and the complimentary shampoo and body gel smells sooo nice. I think the owner should offer and sell the shampoo as take away. The bathroom is really good cleaned here, unlike in most other hotels. A clean bathroom after currently 8 weeks of Indonesia trip was really great!||This resort is a real insider tip, inexpensive and incredibly beautiful. If you come across that one bad review, let me say: it is unfair to blackmail companies with âbad reviewsâ to try and get money back even though there is no justification for the bad review. We didn't see any bugs and we were informed of all additional costs upon arrival! Young companies in particular are extremely threatened by something like this, as good reviews are extremely important in order to get the hotel started. As a guest, I can only do one thing here: counter it with the truth, a very positive review. My wife and Me will definitely come back, this was the best stay in all of...

Read moreI'm not sure why other reviews are raving so much about this place. Okay yes the garden is beautiful and the staff are friendly but atm there are some things that require maintenance and it's not being done. I was staying in the dorm room. It's on the more basic side without curtains, no personal lights,... But fine. But the bathroom cabinet has a big burnmark on it and is also suffering from water damage. The water intake for the toilet is leaking, the tap is loose, and it seems like they never do a deep clean. Their little window thing in the bathroom is full of dust and bugs. The roof also leaks when it rains. They have a communical kitchen but there is no cutlery and it appears quite dirty. Also there is no fridge. I did find a fridge that was turned off in their "bar" area which I ended up using but this one definitely also needs a deep clean. All in all, the place is quite cheap but I have definitely slept in nicer places in a better location for about the same price. Also, only book this is if you want to be in the middle of nowhere and are looking for rest. Canggu is about 30 min away by scooter and there are no other food places or shops close by to Nunu. Nunu's own restaurant has a good selection of food though. I feel like someone tried to build their version of paradise but then forgot about a bunch of things and all the maintenance that actually needs to be done to make it paradise. Again, it's definitely an alright stay, but some things could for sure be improved. That being said, the activities the staff organise are...
