Authentic Bali experience in the jungle (away from touristy area). Perfectly located amongst hidden gems.
My partner and I visited for my 30th birthday. We arrived at 12am and were so happy to see they prepared a sandwich for our arrival, an amazing touch which the staff here continuously exceeded. The service is truly exceptional. We did have a few problems with our room which we do feel is worth mentioning, first it’s important to note that not all rooms come with a hammock, the pictures are slightly misleading as we were excited to have a large room with a hammock, unfortunately we were given a much smaller room which did have a bath but no hammock, directly opposite the toilet and gym… so we were woken up early in the morning a few times from people working out. Additionally out fridge made a loud clicking noise even minute or so which kept us up all night for one night. The staff however did rectify all of these issues immediately by 1. Moving us to another room for 1 night 2. Fixing the fridge when we mentioned the issue 3. Giving us some freebies as an apology for the room. So I would say that all of these problems were rectified sufficiently. The rooms however were super clean! The cleaning staff were amazing!
The number 1 great thing that stood out for us is the level of service, which was exceptional. For my birthday they decorated our room and it looked amazing! Dede, Jodi and Dodi were the stand out staff members, 10/10 service from them and the friendliest/kindest people we could have asked for and made us feel very special!
The food here is also very good! We often chose to eat here over going to restaurants in the most beautiful and peaceful of settings, very romantic and a perfect ambience. Cocktails could do with an improvement but not too bad!
We had floating breakfast which was amazing, highly recommend you get this.
Overall I’d give this a 4/5 and highly recommend you stay here if a in a couple, but remember to choose the bigger room for the...
Read moreThe service here is absolutely phenomenal all the staff are so friendly and make you feel safe. Have had lovely conversations with them all such fun people. All the staff has been extremely respectful, instant reply times for any questions/ orders. They are going above and beyond constantly. We gave our laundry and they counter the socks and there were two mismatched colours and they identified this and asked us if we were missing anything, two socks were left in our suitcase. They returned everything beautifully folded. They are constantly keeping an eye out on how to help and provide the best experience and service. As we were having dinner at sunset there were alot of mosquitoes and they brought us some fire to keep them away.
The food is reasonably priced between 50k-100k per meal and delicious. All salad is washed with bottled water, ice is from bottled water too so everything is safe to eat for tourists. The food options offer a good variety with American, Indian, Balianese, Healthy & vegetarian options. Very worth the value. Recommend the watermelon juice, absolutely delicious.
There is a pool which is beautiful, well kept with a lovely view. Overall the resort is perfect for those who want to stay in a remote area integrated with nature. The room is a work of art and has a stunning view of the jungle. There is not much to do around the resort besides go down 10 min walk on steep stairs to waterfall. However the room is perfect y to stay in, good TV with good sound system and YouTube and Netflix.
The bathroom is beautiful, shower has perfect water pressure all made from stone very clean and well kept no rusting.
The only cons of this place are the insects but this is as they don’t use chemicals and pesticides and are preserving the nature. There is no aircon but there is a good fan. If doors kept shut insects are manageable.
Room service is great everything is through WhatsApp and the replies have...
Read moreThis has probably been my most favorite stay, deffinitely in bali, but possible anywhere. ||The resort is so peaceful, absolutely beautifully maintained and really captures the balinese life: peace, nature and happiness.||The staff was not only pleasant and accomodating but truly was eager to make our stay as best as possible. ||Attention is really paid to every small detail here, from the frangi pani flowers placed about the room, to the perfectly balanced theme of trendy meets nature. The infinity pool and balconies are placed in the best possible locations allowing epic views of the jungle and Mt Agung. Even the loungers at the pool are thoughtfully placed to allow either sun or shade options. ||Personally, I appreciated the comfortable balcony seating which made a perfect breakfast viewpoint of the jungle waking in the morning, birds chirping and the mist rising from the jungle floor. ||Also, the option of glass doors, sheer or thick curtains to the main balcony doors was amazing to either darken the room for a lazy sleep-in morning or still allow the fresh air and light in, sans the jungle natives (bugs ;).||The food menu was amazing, and having room service was so nice, having spent the last 2 weeks in Legian out in the buzz of the city.||We had the pleasure of running into the owner Leon, who is a kind and savy business man, the first person in Bali I have met who has been to my home, Alaska! He truly loves Bali and supports the local community by hiring young locals and training them in the art hospitality from the heart. I can say, you will wholely feel this in an instsnt here.||This was deffinitely was my definition of a bali vacation. We extended our 2 night stay to 3, and if we had more than a few days left of our trip on the island, we probably would have extended it to a full week and plan to stay much longer next we are in Bali!||Thank you to the staff for making such a memorable...
