There are many pros and some cons. The resort is massive and has a lot of facilities like 3 public pools, a restaurant with international n local cuisine, bird park, free buffet style breakfast n a lot more. The villas are beautiful with light filled rooms, air conditioning, spacious bathrooms with all amenities like dental kits, shower gels shampoo, soap etc. We reserved a 3 bedroom villa without a pool but they also offer private pool villas . Room cleaning service everyday. Tv fridge kettle microwave available in the kitchen. Pleasant weather throughout, rainy often. Since the resort is huge so they also offer buggy service to pickup n drop off to ur villa. Front desk highly responsive. Pools very clean. The cons are that doors are not sealed well so there are always lizards and insects entering the house but u can contact the front desk and they send their cleaning team instantly to remove them. Lizard poops everywhere in the bathroom as Bathroom walls have concrete designs with holes in them. Cleaning team didn’t clean well and since we had a long stay the toilets now had turned dirty because of lack of use of cleaners. There were also spider webs in the bathroom and a lot of ants. The gecko n insect sounds don’t let u sleep at night as the doors r not fully sealed. A giant gecko sat on top of the main door everyday and made it hard to go through. The resort is away from the busy city life and surrounded by rice fields , palms and flowers . There are many attractions nearby like celik swing, butterfly park, waterfalls. Small shops nearby to buy groceries. Also indomaret and cocomart nearby. But the life here starts early and by 6pm most of the shops are closed. Ubud is not far away from here and a lot of wholesale markets nearby with hand crafted bags, baskets and decorative items at very affordable prices. Overall a very...
Read moreThe room service is pathetic. The staff talks nuisance. Room service closed at 10, without any intimation. We are with our toddler, and she cried all night without milk in the middle of jungle. I have travelled 20+ countries from west to east and have stayed in all categories of hotels ranging from basic to uber luxury and no one ever denied or charged for a glass of milk for baby. They not only asked for charges but also said your baby will have to come to restaurant (10 minutes from the room in middle of jungle) to drink milk in the breakfast, despite the fact they don't have inclined chairs or beds for kids to lie down and drink a bottle of milk. Room was said to be 280 sqft, but is a rat hole and surely not those dimensions. To use any facility here you need to inform and boom a day before. There is no place to keep and open a luggage. It will be the bathroom if uou have 2 pieces of luggage. Their bedroom and washroom do not have any separation, nor a door between which is a basic thing required in Ubud especially in this kind of hotel because insects and mosquitoes can crawl from anywhere into your bedroom and enter your luggage even. Lighting in bathroom is not good. Do not fall for Indian food j. The menu. I challenge you cannot swallow it. They do not prepare anything here (may be local indonesian food) but have suppliers who provide them frozen stuff which they heat and was something none of us could fill our stomach with. The Dal tadka was the only good thing they made. Even Nacho chips and Guacomole are not good. I booked garden room but what I see is some bushes only. Not even jungle view. Its...
Read moreDuring my visit to Bali, I was fortunate enough to stay in this hidden gem of an establishment. In order to not drag this review out too much, let me highlight some key points that stood out: World-class cuisine (cooked by one of the nicest humans I had the pleasure of meeting- shoutout to Chef ARTHA) Breathtaking landscaping filled with incredible flora and fauna. Top notch hospitality, round the clock service. (special shoutout to GEDE, who made sure I was taken care of at every meal I ate at the restaurant) Incredible facilities, from the immaculately maintained grass tennis court, to the little aviary walkthrough space for children to interact with unique local birds. Mesmerizing Balinese architecture, intricate carvings, and unique artwork all over the property (some are even available for purchase). All rooms are filled with great light and superior cooling systems, which was very much needed during the summer months in Bali.
In conclusion, one of the best times I have had in Bali. I would highly recommend this location for ones looking to have a simple, secluded and relaxing time, while still being close enough to great tourist attractions, incredible fine dining, shopping areas, and a unique riverside lookout. Also about 10 mins away from Saba beach.
Last but definitely not the least, I want to extend a personal heartfelt thanks to the property manager - Karina - who ensured every single aspect of my stay left nothing to be desired, and constantly exceeded expectations through...
