The resort is a little bit dissappointing when you arrive because the front part has no flowers, no real welcoming appeal, its toos large and needs Tender Loving Care as well as the gardens that are still ongoing, so its to say the least disencouraging. However once you pass the pool and dolphins and enter into the mangroves and the wooden pasarell to get to the bungalows, its like being in heaven. Paradise opensa straight in front of you with orchids, papaya trees and palms. The restaurant welcomes you before you part towards your designated bedroom which all have a superb view. The cabins are correct, the beds are very confortable, however clenliness and details are not really up to standard. You might find coffee in theroom but no tea, no sugar, no chocolate powder just that awful cappuchimo creamy and sugary, take it or leave it, very strange that they dont have options. Water however is always available. Plugs for the kettle vary from room to room so sometimes you plug it close to your bedsite, sometimes close to the makeup area....sometimes they change your towel, sometimes they dont, same for toilet paper, sometimes they refill sometimes they dont. However when you ask for something they provide it inmediately an always with a smile. Not something that a couple of procedures cant fix. Same with toothbrushes and soaps, instead of keeping for the stay of a guest they change them every day, to ecologists horror. If you use your soap, the next day you will find new soaps, same for the toothbrush. So there´s something to improve in eco economy. The food is very very tiring. Its recicled all the time. Except vegetables and rice that is new every day and dissappears very fast, the fish1 fish2 and chicken is every day the same, 3 times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were a group of 9 and we experiences slight improvement once we complained but they need to set a menu for every day so they can vary and play around with surprising and amazing dishes that Indonesia provides. That is make something different with the chicken every day Please! And the lunch they provide if you away on trip is just awful, just awful. the locals come with their paperwrapped nasigorengs and miegorengs and their food looks beautiful! why not provide the same ??....chicken and fish is put together, dry, white dry rice, no sauce and a sad fruit that is the same every day....really awful lunch, better skip it and buy some Pop me! The resort will improve Im sure. The staff are increibly friendly and so is the newly appointed Manager. However they need to listen to the guests and establish protocols to repeat and standardise. Best luck Korpak, your gardens will grow, your food will improve and your beautiful smiles will remain. Thanks a lot,...
Read moreWe stayed at the executive room on the beach, left hand side of the restaurant, the view was amazing, we could enjoy sunrise from the balcony. The room was ok, no problem at all with electricity, air conditioner, clean water, nor toilet. The food was not too various yet their fish dishes are great! I have halal diet and got no problem with the food at the restaurant. They can lend you snorkel, mask, and life jacket for free, just walk to the end of the jetty and you can swim there while enjoying lots of small fishes and quite colorful soft corals. They can lend you...
Read moreIt is one of the best and for sure expensive place near waisai. We stayed in hostel. It is good with clean towels and bedsheets but still have to do some improvements like to attach hooks for clothes in the shower and add more toilet paper. Smell of the burning wood with the garbagge nearby does not add pleasure. Hope they will manage it later. Food is good but it is a pity they have so little fresh fruits Yes, on jan 2019 the big part of territory outside seashore is still under...
