The hotel is located quite far from the harbour (30-45mins by car), but you can be rest assured as they provide pick-up service to and from the harbour or the airport. The hotel is also quite far from downtown, presenting you with the tranquility of rural life.||Three-quarter of the hotel is surrounded by beach, so you can surely get the best view whenever you're relaxing on the terrace of your room or even at the communal area. The beach in front of the hotel is quite rocky and choppy at some time along the year. Hence, it would not be very suitable for smimming or snorkling, but the rocks could serve as magnificent frame for your photos. I have been hunting great spots for shooting sunsets in Pulau Weh and, in my opinion, the beach in front of the Pade is the one of the best spot for spotting sunset.||Despite its remote location, the hotel serves good food with varied menus. You can enjoy local delicacies or please your tummy with standard hotel breakfast menu all around the world.||On my last trip, I was travelling with 4 family members. When you make your booking, be sure to request for rooms with ocean view as I did. The room is quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. The room also has a king-sized bed with duvet sheet, air conditioner, TV, and bathroom with washbasin, hot/cold water shower, and toilet. There is no wardrobe in the room but they provide a towel rack. ||The staffs are friendly, attentive, and also informative. They helped us arranging our snorkling trip and provided us with boat and guides to introduce us to great snorkling and diving spots in the island. The hotel has international standard of diving equipments and also provide diving course guided by professional instructors in which you can get your international diving license.||Some might consider the room price to be quite expensive compared to other accommodations on the island. However, if you’re expecting for a resort like hotel with great service, it is reasonably worthy.||I visited Pulau Weh on 8th July 2016 and stayed at The Pade for 3 nights. That was my fourth time visiting Pulau Weh and my third time staying in The Pade Dive Resort. I would definitely choose The Pade again for...
Read moreI have just spent 10 incredible nights at The Pade Dive Resort, and I'm still buzzing from the experience. The staff were absolute delights, and the full-board package was fantastic - all meals were catered and waiting for us at meal times.
The diving was truly exceptional, with great visibility even on rainy days. The boat guides were brilliant and super friendly, and our dive guide and instructor was awesome. My friend completed her Open Water certification in record time, and we got to enjoy plenty of fun dives.
The logistics were super smooth, too - someone was waiting for us at each stop, from airport to ferry to Pade, making the entire journey seamless and stress-free.
The resort itself is secluded, peaceful, and quiet, fully surrounded by nature. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway immersed in the natural world, The Pade is perfect. However, if you're craving cafes and other amenities, the neighboring beaches have plenty to offer - The Pade's location is ideal for balancing both tranquility and exploration.
The rooms were basic but comfortable, with stunning views of the waves crashing on the rocks. What I loved most was the variety of dive sites and conditions - every dive was a new experience.
Pulau Weh has a rich culture and a relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect destination for a diving holiday. I highly recommend The Pade Dive Resort to anyone looking for an...
Read moreI thought this place it wasn't worth called a ressort.|I don't know if the reason is about the lacking of visitor / guest..|But, I also talk about the facilities..|With the amount of room price such as that, it really disappointed..|You will find a |- small room|- very small TV dimension. Maybe about 14"|- very narrow room|- A rusty bathroom tools|- very small bathroom (just a toilet and simple little shower)|- no hairdryer |- no beach (even a small beach, but full of stones)|- Not really a ressort condition (private) since some local people hanging around to fishing |- Wi-Fi suddenly shut down (you can imagine that condition in a ressort, which far away from down town). And no solution until we checked out!|- No settle bus. Will add tue charge if you "use" their effort to drop/fletch you.|- No buffee for breakfast. |Owh God.. is that a resort??||So,|Maybe you can try another spot or place or hotel, which a worth price. |No need a place called "resort" but would made you disappointed for it's unworthy facilities. |Better in a simple hotel, but you can enjoy your...
