I'm delighted to share my positive review of the hotel on the beautiful island of Lombok, with its vast property and access to a stunning, secluded beach.
First and foremost, the hotel's extensive grounds, which lead to a pristine, uncrowded beach, left me in awe. It's a true paradise for those seeking relaxation and tranquility. The location alone is reason enough to visit this place.
We arrived quite late, around midnight, and were pleased to find that the administrator was waiting for us to escort us to our apartment. This level of service and consideration for guests' comfort was highly appreciated.
Inside the apartment, we found a comfortable bedroom with a spacious bed. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a restful night's sleep in the tropical climate.
The hotel's on-site cafe with its extensive menu was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed a delicious meal with a variety of options to choose from. What's more, the convenience of being able to pay with a credit card made the experience even smoother.
Our stay was brief, just one night, but it left us with nothing but positive impressions. The combination of a welcoming staff, comfortable accommodations, and the serene beach setting made for a memorable visit. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on the beautiful...
Read morePondok Siola is such a great place - for us, it was the perfect place to relax for a couple of days whilst on a road trip around Lombok. We ate all our meals in the restaurant - everything was lovely (although it did take quite a while to come!). Breakfast is simple but enough - choice of eggs or pancake; fruit; fruit juice or hot drink.
Wifi isn’t the best when you’re away from the restaurant area, and the mobile signal can be sketchy too.

Also, the PDQ machine wasn’t working, which meant we had to pay with cash or by bank transfer. Luckily, this wasn’t an issue for us but it could be if you’re not prepared...

What made Pondok Siola really special was the staff: food was superb and they organised a barbecue followed by beautiful live guitar music and singing by the multi talented team. They have also established a turtle preservation operation, hatching the eggs in protected conditions then releasing the young turtles 4-6 months later. A unique...
