Rimbono Home Stay — Hotel in Samigaluh

Very good place to escape from city busyness.... Quite enough place... Good place to rest, cold enough but not freezing (except the water is very icy). Dark side mountain phone signal, good to rest your phone.. 🤭 🤭.. Locate inside désa wisata nglinggo. Many tourism place near it inside the mountain range, so no worry if it was just a lonely place. The difficult driving will pay with the heavenly places.

The road is very dramatic, mostly tarmac but many gravel and loose rocks too on side, many narrow and dangerous s-turn, especially when you night drive be careful with thick fog, the road very steep, many almost reach 30 degrees hike, so make sure your tire grip and the brake are good enough, and the power too off course because it will like hill-climb riding...🤭 🤭 🤭

If you come from north Java better use road Magelang - Purworejo (it's the most safest route and not too steep from many and the tarmac is still in good condition, even when you come from south like from Yogyakarta (godean), when almost reach Purworejo border, make turn in banyuasin, the road is humanly enough. Don't trust the map naively if you came from north, but when you're arrive in banyuasin then you can...

The best place to stay overnight at Nglinggo/ if you want to visit Nglinggo Tea Garden or Ngisis Hill. It's only 800 m away from the tea garden/hill.

The room itself is a wooden stilts house. Very very beautiful, unique and comfortable as well. Wifi, hot water, and TV available. You definitely do not need air con or fan because it's already cold up there, especially at night/when it rains.

The price is pretty nice, and it already includes breakfast which is Nasi Goreng served with sunny side up. They will serve you tea or coffee as well. The service was good. But you need to buy/bring dinner, snacks and drinks because there is no "warung"/store nearby.

If you need to pray (for muslims) and you forget to bring mukena/sajadah, there is also a prayer room, located next to the kitchen/"lobby".

I want stay at this homestay again if I'm going to stay overnight...

The place has beautiful view, as a person who like forest, I like the tranquility of this place. Even though it is tranquil, doesnt mean there are no other people. Because it is locate beside the road.

The people who manage it is very kind. Help us too get whatever we need to.

It has quite good facilities. No need for AC because it is cold already at night. Warm water, wifi, tv, wide parking area, you can bring your pet too.

The downside though. Closest minimarket is about 20-30...
