Keboen Ndalem Homestay & Waroeng — Hotel in Semarang

The management of this hotel can't possibly be serious! The rooms were very dirty. I swept the floor a little bit with a wet tissue and it immediately became very dirty. The bottom of the dustbin in the bathrooms were totally rusted away, no kidding, and the floor under looked like it was made of a rusty steel plate. The showers are lokated just inside the doors, and the toilets are furthest away, so all of the bathroom floors are wet at all times. Further more, there is no hot water in the showers, and one of the shower heads sprayed water literally in all directions. There is no washbasin in the bathrooms so you have to go out to wash your hands and brush your teeth. The bed blankets are very thin and not dimensioned for the altitude of the location. There are few windows and the curtains could not be pulled to the sides, so you have to go outdoors to look out. I could go on. We were woken up at 03:30 in the morning by several surrounding Mosques which loudspeakers kept us awake. The room wall is so thin, so sound from outside room was hear clearly. Sometimes when the night, some of animal got in front of room, then make sound that very disturbing. The room itself in my bed, i found a couple or maybe more of lizard waste 🤣 Some mosquito at night.

The bathroom, there is no hot water 😅. Yes there are water heater in bathroom, but the water heater need very long time for heat the water.

And when raining, its so difficult to walk because of moss in the ground. I fell one time because of it. So...if you elderly, or want to take your parents to stay at this place, i suggest to very becarefull with your parent step, cause it very dangerous when raining.

But location i feel its so good village atmosphere for people who seek for exit from the city. the food was good, tasty as well but need...

Pros: green and refreshing ambience. Suitable for family with toddler. Nice and clean room. Terasnya enak banget buat ngechill sambil ngopi ngerokok entah itu pagi siang sore malem. Even with javanese decoration it's not spooky at all. Free bike rental. Free mini golf area.

Cons: Small and thin blanket. 2 uncomfortable pillows. Worms at bathroom 🤣 Limited breakfast. (Only serve soto, pecel, nasi rames, bubur kacang ijo, fruit, mineral water and hot tea, NO COFFEE 😅) Angkringan at weekend is a bit overprice bcs of the food quality. Mosquitos. Mosquitos and Mosquitos 😀 The sounds from near mosque is too loud. The door is hard to open.
