Enjoyed our stay for one night before departing Sorong. Appreciated the location very close to the airport. Rooms were as pictured, clean and spacious. We asked for an extra bed so three adults could stay in the same room, and the staff promptly set it up after our arrival. We asked for the 5th floor after reading reviews of the loud music at night. It was quiet there and we slept well. The staff were all very friendly and upbeat, and those at the reception desk and in the restaurant spoke excellent English. The restaurant was a huge surprise bonus--there was an all-you-can eat buffet for dinner, just 100,000 idr per person for guests staying in the hotel. There were lots of fun choices in the main room, as well as several cute kiosks that made food to order indoors and on the patio--seafood, soups, noodles, fried foods, etc. It was a very fun experience without having to go out on the streets after a hot and tiring day of travel. The waiters made us feel very welcome and we had a great time....
Read moreI want to position this correctly and fairly in that the hotel was absolutely fine / really good for a 1 night stay and will use it again (which says it all) when next connecting to Raja Ampat. However, I think it would be better for some if the hotel didnât describe / sell their basic room as âsuperiorâ when it is in fact their most basic room (superior to what if the minimum offering?!) and made it clear that room was windowless. It was acceptable to us for a 1 night stay over but might not be for some and may have been a problem if we had been staying longer. The restaurant and outdoor decking area was good and the all you can eat buffet was very enjoyable and great value at 150k IDR each (c ÂŁ8). The individual cooking stations were really good and a great way to taste the different local cuisine. Located near the airport which was handy for the next morning...

When we entered the rooms, there were no towels. After calling the reception 3 times it took an hour for them to bring towels. Shower is kinda broken and there's just some water if you stand in one corner of the shower. Red (blood?) stains on the wall. Hot water kettle was rusty. AC switched off every 10 minutes, so during the night I woke up multiple times to switch on the AC, since it became too hot in the room. O yea, we didn't have any windows in the room.
The good thing is that the beds were good and clean, so...
