Hotel Santika Luwuk — Hotel in Sulawesi

Santika is one of my choice when I'm travelling in the past. That's why I choose this hotel when I'm at Luwuk. First of all, as far as I know, Santika didn't build this hotel from the beginning. They took over and renovated the hotel. The results, can be seen that this hotel is not like usual Santika.||The hotel is clean and nice. While the style is outdated, it is the lack of facilities that will make you think again before you choose this hotel, compared to the competitors nearby as the price they offered is not that far different.||The swimming pool is nice, but they gym is too small and the restaurant is limited (no bar or such as far as I can see). Oh, and no spa and whatever kind of it.||The room itself is nice. You can choose sea view for maximum experience. But be warned, it could get hot in morning as it's directly face to the sun rise. In my experience, I continuously heard banging noise all the time. Don't what it is, though it could get annoying, I can still get good sleep.||The breakfast is quite delicious, though the menu is limited, including the quantity. Maybe that's because not many visitors there. They put plate on the serving, that resulted the food is not heated properly.||Overall, the location is good (not as remote as competitors), the view is stunning, the staffs is nice. This hotel could be your choice, if you're not expecting more.||I'm not sure the management will improve the lack of facilities, but if they do, I'll highly...

I stayed here for one night and had a really good experience with Santika Hotel. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the basic amenities. A complete set of toiletries was also provided, just like you’d expect from a star-rated hotel. From the room and even the restaurant, you can also enjoy a beautiful view of Luwuk, which made the stay even more memorable.

Breakfast was another highlight—the selection was impressive. There were traditional Indonesian dishes, a variety of Western options, an egg station, a jamu corner with herbal drinks, fresh fruit, and desserts. Everything I tried was delicious and well-prepared.

The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle service to the airport for only Rp50.000, which makes traveling even easier.

We stayed in Santika Hotel, Luwuk one night while waiting for a flight to Manado. This hotel turned out, a little unexpectedly, to be great in almost every respect. The staff were both courteous and extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean, up to date, and properly equipped. WiFi is free and worked well for us on a number of devices. The bed was comfy with high quality linen. The shower produced ample hot water. One small criticism is that the shower head is positioned a bit too high (around 7') and my wife wasn't able to reach it. The infinity pool is very pleasant and the surrounding area includes lots of loungers. I'm a bit sun-shy so I would have preferred a few more parasols. There were works going on next door but they didn't bother us.||||We mistakenly left some clothing there but the staff managed to send it on to us so that we picked it up in Manado airport.
