I was staying in the villa with my two trip mates, and we enjoyed staying here. Nice villa with nice greenery view , located in strategic place in front of Bus drop off from Makasar. The villa has two floors , with king size bed (ground floor) and one small bed (upper floor). In front of the villa, there's a small Tongkonan Tradisional House which is a good value of this Villa.
The villa not include breakfast but we can order additional breakfast , specially made by the owner (Willa ). Btw the owner's house is just in front of the Villa. We were invited to have our breakfast in Willa's house , and accompanied with Willa's mother (Tante Pauline) who's very friendly and very welcome to any visitors.
Another good thing , the owner of this Villa is also a Professional Tour Guide and Barista and running a small coffee shop in front of the Villa . We also hire his service as Tour Guide to explore Toraja and enjoy his coffee while staying here.
Though this villa offer limited amenities (no AC , no drinking water, no toiletteries, no wardrobe) but generally we had a good experience...
Read moreI really enjoy my stay here the value is truly 5 stars begin with the place, location, and the hospitality of both Kak Wila and his mom, you’ll know that you will be back there right away. The location made my short trip smoothly done bcs the bus stop is literally across the property, and every place you should visit while in Toraja Utara is max 15 to 20 mins away from this place. Also, Kak Wila offers a fair price for a guided day trip (motorbike or walking tour) I chose walking tour and I didn’t regret the whole 7.5KM walks to and from Londa, accompanied by Sarira hill, completed by the urban legend told by Kak Wila himself. I Highly recommend to take the offers especially if you have a limited time there in Toraja. Thank you Kak Wila!! I surely...
Read moreI had the pleasure of staying at Wila's property for 4 days. My only regret is that I did not stay longer. Wila and his mother make you feel very welcome. I had Wila as my guide for the duration of my stay and he created a fantastic itinerary for me. I was never bored. He kept everything engaging and educational. You can feel his pride and connection to the land around him, his ancestors, and his community. I feel fortunate that I could be told the local stories and legends by a person who truly wished to tell them.
Wila's English is excellent and we were able to have several candid, engaging conversations and I appreciated the companionship during my brief visit.
I hope to return to this location and to visit Wila and his...
