Bagoes View Cottages and Monggong Cafe — Hotel in Sumatra

Beautiful little homestay with only 3 Bungalows available, all very spacious new and spotless clean. It's settled in a beautiful garden at the hill overlooking the majestic Lake Maninjau. The place is very quiet and peaceful up there. Excellent service with great food and drinks, you can request special items and can even get it all served at your bungalow. Here you really see and feel that Nabila,, who is running this place was professional trained for the hotel and service industry. We had a fantastic stay of two nights and wished we could have stayed longer, as the place is super comfortable, with a good bathroom and comfy beds. It was a real delight to spend some time at this place. The bungalows were the most spacious and nicely designed we had in all our travels in Sumatra. The whole place is built with nice materials and a great attention to details. The bathroom is spacious and well sorted as well, there is a fan in the room, and the view is absolutely incredible, probably the best you will get at Lake Maninjau. The family is very nice, the mother is a great cook, and the girl who runs the place speaks excellent English, is well travelled and knowledgeable, and has real training in hospitality, which makes a big difference.
