Danny Juljol Homestay — Hotel in Sumbawa

Danny and Putu are exceptionally gracious hosts. Their homestay is just perfect for solo or groups. I have stayed alone at their place for a month every year for the last five years as I visit with visiting family nearby. My sister joined me a couple years ago and next year a cousin who has never traveled outside of the US plans to join me.||||The rooms are very clean and well-furnished. The grounds are gorgeous, just gorgeous! I enjoy breakfast with the many surfers and travelers that stay there, too. The location is convenient, close to the beach but on the main road, making it easy to grab a motorcycle and get anywhere quickly. I phoned frantically to find accommodation because very few spots in Lakey seem to have online booking. Danny was the first of 5 to answer his own phone, he gave me his email and offered us a rate of roughly $12/night Canadian. He even picked us up himself from the airport, showed us his favorite spots in town and got us really nice reliable scooters. From the UK. I have stayed here a bunch of times and my brother would stay here for 2months at a time! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in lakeys. Room are nice size with two beds and air con, and private balcony, brilliant part is the rooms have water dispensers with boiling water so no need for loads of water bottles and can make noodles and coffee in your room.
