The place is truly amazing with tremendous natural views. On your way to the resort you should visit Bekhal waterfalls taking great and amazing pictures and drink charcoal tea. Then two minutes far you will take the chairlift heading to the resort to see the amazing natural mountain views covered with ice, specially during December, January, and February. The staff there is very friendly and amazing as they just keen to help and provide the best service to the guest. The restaurant food quality is excellent and with very good average prices. The villa's view is very nice and the heating system is very good. However, some renovations must be accomplished as some power supplies were damaged, the side lamps as well. The cleaning service was very good but not excellent, however it is accepted but needs to be improved. Another comment that whenever you have to contact the reception you have to call them on mobile as there is no land line to call it through and they are not answering from the first trial but you have to call twice and sometimes more as you can't walk to the Villa instead riding the dedicated 4×4 cars of the hotel. But all in all it is a great experience that you must...
Read moreThis place has incredible potential. However poor the service level, it was compensated by the beauty and nature of the place.|The lack of organisation at the base of the resort was painful to observe. I had many a thoughts about how things could be improved. What we lack is the required culture to turn this place into a Switzerland of the Middle East. |Once you go up the cable car you are taken to the reception and there again you feel the chaos. Once in our chalets we asked several times for service. Two services were asked for one came after 5 calls and 3 hrs! The second service never came ( bottles of water). |Most of the activities seemed worn out or in need of servicing, I personally went onto the ski slope of which the lift for the higher slope was not working! due to ice! ( snow mountain resort).|The other activity was the paintball, which again needed to be overhauled, we were given shoe laces to tighten our trousers! |This place could be heaven and a goldmine for tourism, what we lack is expertise. I would visit again because it is such a beautiful place. I really wish it would be at a...
Read moreDidn't have much of a preconception of what we'd be getting into. Guest accommodations in Kstan can be rather bleak. Such was not the case at the Korek Mountain Resort and Spa. We had a lovely 3 bedroom villa with ample space. Large kitchen and sitting area, two W.C.s. The staff was very prompt to help when called. You appreciate that since the villas are located well up the hill from the main lodge, but they provide shuttle service.||||Due to the time of year there was no snow, but we weren't expecting any. There was an extra room available in the lodge which was offered to us at no extra charge.||||The lodge also contains the dining room/restaurant. There have been negative comments about the food service, but none from me. The regular clientele has fairly narrow food preferences. Our group of Americans appreciated the quality and diversity of what was offered. The food was delicious and the manager made it his mission to provide an international diversity. ||||In all it was a very possible 6 days on the mountain and I'm sure that many of our group will...
