Leens Hotel Abbeyfeale — Hotel in County Limerick

Now what else can I say about this absolutely appalling excuse for a restaurant, let alone hotel…

The food was absolutely terrible and over priced.

Chowder DEFINITELY MICROWAVED and made me feel terrible afterwards Onion rings were just rock solid The Brie Filo wraps were okay but the Strawberry Salad?! What an absolute joke with knife skills/cuts done by a badger scraping for food!!! My 17€ Caesar Salad was simply just Mayo leave that weee disgusting with no flavour whatsoever. I asked for No chicken and no bacon but was still charged full price. Fair play to management for removing this from my bill.

Honestly from the bottom of my heart, stay away from here as you will most definitely leave disappointed to say the least if you u know anything about good food.

Lovely quaint old style hotel in the centre of town.. Old school rooms with a nice mix of 70's, 80's and 90's period style furniture, A small tv with the local Irish channels on it and a kettle for a cup of tea in the evening..(but don't forget to bring a bottle of fresh water for it) As with all hotels in the centre of town there will be noise from outside, but I think this adds to the charm of town centre based hotels. The bar is again quaint and old school with some outdoor areas.. The menu is limited and small, which to me is a good sign as the food will be fresh and not frozen. And for the vegetarian types there is the option of a fresh veg stir fry. Breakfast from 7:30, and again all fresh. Very friendly staff always...

Fabulous hotel with very friendly staff, right in the centre of abbeyfeale. We went as part of a family road trip booking 4 rooms for 2 nights, we went to research our family tree. William deserves a special thankyou, he was amazing really helpful with ideas and phone numbers. Maurice stayed up very late to welcome us when our ferry was delayed again another big Thankyou. The hotel is beautiful and the choice of Irish breakfast was amazing and did not disappoint. We would definately stay here again.
