House converted into a cafe and B&B with loving attention to detail and friendly, welcoming staff. The food is simple and delicious, and the large back porch is wonderfully peaceful on a warm day.

Have to say I was a little skeptical when we decide to stop here for lunch from the out side it’s seems it’s some ones house as you drive in the drive way any way ventured inside for some lunch the girl serving was very friendly and efficient at her job placed our order myself my wife and our two kids food arrive after a short wait it was hot fresh and delicious premises were very clean and looked and smelled clean and fresh toilets were spotless decor was nicely done and warm and welcoming ||I will return again ||Can’t comment on the b&b part of the premises as we just stopped for lunch but if the cafe / restaurant part is to go on I’d say it would be plesent the only bad comment I can actually make is the old civic lying up at the entrance looks abandoned but if that’s the only bad thing I can say about the place then it could be seen as looking for faults ||To the staff and owner you’s have the place looking nice and good food hard found...

Where to start, we travelled 4 hours for a family funeral, myself and my partner paid 90 euro for the night, if your over a size 12 forget about using the bathroom, it was tiny barely had room to move, also we had one hand towel to share so after showering that was no good to us, meanwhile my sister inlaw paid 55 euro for a room and had a huge bathroom with a shower and a stand alone bath, odd they gave that room to the single party not the couple, at the start the owner was in shock that 2 women would be sharing a room to start with, the cold through the night was unreal we would of been better in a tent outside, come the morning we were woke by the smoke alarm as the dining area filled with smoke, and the breakfast was as cold as the night was, could not wait to leave and would not recommend staying here, if your that stuck park your car up and...

Hate to thrash a small business but I must in this case. Reserved to stay here overnight on a Saturday by phone call on a Monday. Was worried by the lack of detail asked by the host, so rang again before I left and informed her what time I was coming. She said that was fine. I arrived one hour before my going away party at work only for my calls to be ignored and no one answering the doorbells. Then eventually they sent a message saying sorry but they're full someone had double booked. Ended up having to sleep on a colleagues couch instead. Never in my whole life have I witnessed this level of unprofessionalism and staggering ignorance. And then to not have the courtesy of speaking to me face to face. Unbelievable. I'm still stunned writing this. I guess there's no guarantee that you won't be left out on the street...
