An Enchanting Irish Reverie

In the verdant embrace of Wexford, the Killiane Castle is a masterpiece of hospitality that brings together history, charm, and an irresistible touch of Irish warmth. This enchanting locale, worthy of the highest praise, transcends the ordinary with its distinctive blend of comfort, elegance, and rustic allure.

Your first sight of Killiane Castle – an exquisite, centuries-old structure delicately merging with a charming country house – captivates your senses. As you traverse the lush, manicured grounds, you feel an instant serenity settling in. The generous spaces, both inside and out, invite guests to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the countryside, offering verdant gardens, restful nooks, and a scenic farm walk that navigates through the estate's enchanting expanse.

The castle itself, an intriguing and well-preserved nod to 15th-century architecture, is a living piece of history.

The accommodations mirror the grandeur and refinement of the surroundings. Spacious, immaculate rooms equipped with commodious bathrooms offer a sanctuary of relaxation. Each room is thoughtfully designed, infused with an inimitable blend of tradition and modern comfort, leaving nothing to be desired.

Hospitality shines brightly at Killiane Castle, where the heart and soul of the house, Paul and Patrycja, shower guests with dedicated attention and helpful advice. Their passionate stewardship and genuine care amplify the experience, rendering it profoundly personal.

The culinary offerings are another testament to the Castle's commitment to excellence. Mornings begin with a spectacular breakfast, a feast of local and homemade delights – think granola, honey, yogurt, and an array of delectable jams. Then, there's the pièce de résistance – a hot breakfast that stars a fresh eggs and chorizo bake. Indulgence continues into the evenings in the lounge, where an honor bar invites guests to unwind.

Finally, the allure of Killiane Castle is augmented by its idyllic setting. Its pastoral location provides the perfect springboard for exploring Wexford and the magnificent areas beyond, making every day an adventure in this captivating corner of Ireland.

In essence, a stay at Killiane Castle is more than just a retreat; it's a captivating immersion into Ireland's rich past and the tranquility of its countryside, seamlessly interwoven with outstanding hospitality and comfort. It's a sojourn that deserves the highest commendation and promises an unforgettable highlight to any journey.

While the hospitality of Paul and Patrycja radiates throughout Killiane Castle, they are not the only duos charming guests. A whimsical pair of resident donkeys on the farm also enthusiastically extend their welcome adding a delightful touch of bucolic charm to the...

If I could give more stars, I absolutely would. You will never find a better experience (all around) than this breathtaking place. My husband and I had a travel agent book us this amazing place in 2015. I fell in love with it so much I came back with my best friend in 2017. It’s a very reasonably priced place for everything you endure here. It’s a restored little castle that you are encouraged to explore during your stay. It’s located on a farm that you are welcome to collect eggs, milk cows and pet the animals (optional). The inside of this place is something out of a Victorian dream or something you see in a movie. Very exquisite interior, sparkly clean, spacious rooms, cozy and comfortable. Water is provided in your rooms, outside food or drink is not accepted (understandably). It’s a completely divine experience you will never forget.

The hosts are wonderful and deliver such heartfelt hospitality. In the mornings they go above and beyond for a breakfast, milk and cheese made on their farm. They have a lovely menu you are sure to want more. The first time I stayed here, my husband and I were the only ones on the entire facility. The staff had a huge presentation of a delicious breakfast buffet, I was blown away. I had the exact same experience the second time with two other families and it was lovely.

I truly can’t express enough how much I love this place, I would move here and work here in a heartbeat. I want so much for everyone to enjoy what I can only dream of. I’ve traveled a handful of countries and many places in the US, I have never had a move gorgeous memory. Thank you so much to the incredible staff here, you guys are such a...

Killiane Castle Review Stay at Killiane Castle! A warm, elegant and kind atmosphere will greet you as you drive up the pretty lane to Killiane Castle Country House Bed and Breakfast. We arrived a bit late but the scent of large white lilies combined with our sweet lady of the house Patricia greeted us with keys, a cold clear glass bottle of water and welcoming instructions. Our perfectly appointed rooms were not only clean, but decorated in a richly updated yet timeless fashion. After a quiet night orchestrated by some soft rain we woke to a generous freshly home cooked delicious Irish breakfast of a yummy bite of sausages, eggs, and more made to order. Homemade jams and scones accompanied by a healthy buffet of cereals, seeds and fruits completed our sweet farm to table breakfasting experience. Some engaging conversation with our hardworking hosts filled our imaginations with plenty of useful information to help us enjoy our holiday in Ireland. After a walk on the lush grounds and a look about the castle our stay came to a close far too soon! Make arrangements to stay at least two nights in order to absorb the tranquil poetic surroundings. We will hold this lovely little experience in our hearts for a long...

A beautiful spot a short drive south of Wexford town. The house decor preserves so many of the historic nature and furniture but has a sense of modern well chosen fittings and decor which gives a uniquely well conserved feel. The grounds are very well kept and there are some beautify walks, both long and short around the grounds including the castle of which the more able bodied can climb up to the top and admire the view. The breakfast included an excellent buffet with home made granola and the menu of hot food included full Irish with sausages from their own farm. The staff were great especially young Paddy who was serving the buffet!! While it’s certainly in the upper price range for B&Bs it wasn’t significantly more and other local options and the difference in quality is worth it. Well done!

We absolutely loved our stay at Killiane Castle. The atmosphere is both peaceful and magical – waking up in a historic castle is something we’ll never forget. The breakfast was exceptional, with delicious homemade touches that made every morning special. One of the highlights for our family was the tennis court right beside the castle – our son had so much fun playing there while we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The combination of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality makes Killiane Castle a truly special place. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fabulous, I didn't know what to expect, but I was sold when castle was in the name !! I called with zero notice and got the last room in a busy wexford, and the owner accommodated me and even started breakfast early for me so that I could get on my way. I'll definitely be back and bring the family. Note, there is a golf driving range just outside the gate 500 yards away. I'm just saying!!
