What can I say?! Well, we stayed in the large family tent with decking -(covered, for perfect Irish al fresco dining!) After our delicious grazing board (made by Caroline) we toasted marshmallows on the bbq. The double bed and kids bunk bed were heavenly - we all slept like babies. Just to note, it's a very quiet area with the benefit of only a few other campers! Amenities: beautifully restored barn building with high spec lux shower/washrooms (towels provided) & kitchenette with all the basics, ie BBQ equipment, crockery/utensils, kettle, mini fridge each. Bbq charcoal, lighters,wood. I don't know what else to add, everything we thought of to bring was already here! Highlights: Breakfast! Delicious pancakes brought to out tent😋. The laidback vibe, Caroline has been at this a while & loves a chat! Lovely host, very genuine person. Our son loved the adventure of the place, while still having nightlights in bed and a nearby loo. For me, it's the little touches like individual hand towels and my favourite hand-wash (Irish brand). One other thing, my husband said a thing you notice is that everything smells good, no mouldy damp etc. Everything...

I stayed at Legan Castle Farmhouse last weekend for the Mid-Summer Retreat with my sister - and what a weekend it was! This was our fourth stay at Legan Castle and our second retreat, and every time we return, it truly feels like a home away from home. We’ve been visiting for over six years now, and it just keeps getting better.

Caroline is a fantastic host, and I give her five stars for how beautifully organised this retreat was. The weekend’s schedule was thoughtfully curated to help you unplug and fully relax, with a mix of breathwork, yoga classes, sound baths, and the option to book a Shiatsu massage - which left us feeling like we were floating out the door on Sunday!

The food was another highlight. Everything Caroline prepared was nourishing, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The morning juices were a standout for me, along with the apricot on toast - a new favourite!

I always love staying at Legan Castle and I’m already looking forward to booking in with Caroline again....

The Legan Castle Farmhouse was our first stop during our honeymoon this past May...what an incredibly special start to our trip! From the beautiful setting to the expertly crafted BBQ dinner and tent-side breakfasts, Caroline creates an experience that is unique and restorative within a backdrop of lush rolling farmland. Legan is way beyond the typical glamping venue. The large plush mattress, stylish tent lighting, and comfy lounge chairs allowed us to truly refresh, and you won't find more delicious and high-quality fresh food. Caroline has also transformed a charming stone outbuilding to a lovely bath house and self-serve kitchen. This place is perfect for nature-lovers and foodies who also want some luxury.
