The service was amazing. A special thank you to Mor and the front desk, who personally checked in on us and helped us navigate some issues with BeHatzdaa. All the staff we interacted with were so warm and always smiling. They went out of the way to make us feel welcome and check in on us personally.
** A note for booking through behatzdaah- it takes up to 48 hours for them to confirm with the hotel and can cause issues booking a spa time. Mor was so helpful in getting everything figured out and reassuring us.
The room was comfortable and large, we were on the top floor with a lovely view of the Kinneret. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless when we recieved it and spotless after the cleaning on the second day. It was a nice surprise to find a bottle of wine and some chocolates and fruit on our check-in.
We spent the whole stay at the pool and spa. We were there mid-week so it was emptier than I'm guessing the weekend is and there were a lot of open sun beds and clean towels. The staff was constantly checking that wet towels were picked up and the floor was dry. We really enjoyed the attention to detail that kept everything feeling clean and comfortable. The water's temperature was perfect for swimming, and the pool is large enough to not feel crowded with others. We also enjoyed the hot tub outside and the Hamam.
The couples massage at the spa was very professional and very relaxing. There were some issues with the booking but the staff helped us navigate it. I would recommend calling as early as possible to book massages, it was very busy the whole time we were there and I think a lot of people go just to the spa and breakfast without staying at the hotel.
In general, I was really impressed with the hotel facilities and decor. There are a lot of little areas to enjoy privacy. We especially loved sitting at the fire pits outside after dinner. The attention to detail in the small things, even the lobby restrooms, really elevates the feeling of luxury and comfort.
Don't forget to ring the gong in the entrance!
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend the hotel.
There are a few points that could be improved: The breakfast and dinner were just ok. The staff seemed a bit new and it was hard to track someone down to get coffee in the morning. For dinner there was just water on the table and we weren't asked if we wanted any additional drinks. There is a wine bar in another room, but considering the price per night, it would be nice to have soda or juices at dinner.
There were a lot of options for food and the veggies and salads were very fresh. It would be nice if they made sure platters were refilled a bit more often, and got some covers for the hot food to keep it from drying out. The first morning there was a frozen yogurt machine which we really liked, but were disappointed the second morning to be told it wasn't available (it was covered with a sheet in the corner). I would also recommend putting cheeses without their packaging in the breakfast, it's a minor detail that felt a bit odd to see while everything else was plated so nicely.
The other minor issue was with the water in the shower. The pressure was good but without touching anything, the temperature kept changing drastically. It didn't bother us too much but would probably be something they should look into. It would also have been nice to have a tub instead of a walk-in shower, especially because...

Read moreWe returned from 2 nights at the Canaan Spa Hotel from the Fattal group. There is no doubt that this is a top-notch hotel, and if you’re a “health lover” (spa, pools, jacuzzi and treatments - this is the hotel for you! The hotel was recently renovated and looks simply great. The rooms are large, the shower is large and comfortable, a large TV, a small refrigerator and a Nespresso machine. The attitude of all the employees is exceptional - they want you to have a good time! The food is at the level of a chef, both at breakfast and especially at dinner. The hotel has a heated pool, 2 jacuzzi pools overlooking the view, a fitness room and spa treatments of all kinds. During the day there are workshops related to health issues. Around the hotel there are plants and benches, and in front of the hotel there is a grove that is pleasant to walk in. Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels in...
